Will the Paragon have wings in-game?

Background picture clearly shows wings jutting out of the paragons back. Although the paragon is considered the "guardian angel" of the Elonas, will any of our characters we make have coolio wings, maybe to simply hover an inch off the ground? In the later game, can we get wings? Or perhaps, the CE will allow this, along with a feature for the Dervish.

Perhaps FoW armor, or more likely, 15k armor for the Paragon.

Why would Anet put that on the site, if they had no intention whatsoever of actually putting this awesome thing in-game?

My guess is if it happens, it will be either FoW or CE, and a special feature for both Dervish and Paragon, even though they did not do this for the Sin/Rt.

It would be really cool to have wings on the 15k/fow paragon armors, but I heard it was only when you use certain skills that have a wings/rising animation.

But 15k/fow paragon armors should have wings, it would make nightfall so much more worth getting.

Suppose to have wings when they cast echos and chants. Guess they aren't done with it.

Totally agree, one of the reasons I want to make a Paragon is so I can have wingz....

Yeah, with certain Paragon skills, you were supposed to hover in the air, and sprout wings.

We already saw the hovering in the air part with some of the skills this weekend, such as Flame Anthem. They just might not be done with the wings yet.

Personally I'd prefer to have feathered appendages jutting from my back, rather like an angel, than a late 80's Mac spreadsheet program.

I thought I heard someone say they would float when casting AoE spells...

That would be a nice and dramatic addition.

While casting they rise off the ground (same as necros) and sprout little wings. I doubt wings will be a part of any armors.

Maybe the CE emote will involve wings.... or just more backup dancers.

If fow paragorn has wings i am geting fow for it lol ^^.

Why would ANET show us armor we can't craft?

Why would ANET show us weapons and shields we can't find in game?

Same reason for everything, to make us want the game by over glorifying things.

with or without wings, i like the paragon armour from what i have seen so far

I sure as hell hope the paragons dont have stupid wings.

The pic on the Guildwars.com official site looks freaking stupid. They should have used the paragon male from the GWFC tournament (on the walls) its much better.

I have been saving shards and ectos for a long long time, and if the FoW paragon armor has wings then its all going toward my Dervish instead.


edit- the little concept of "guardian angel" is getting kind of old and redundant. But if more ppl buy nightfall due to that, then more power to Anet ftw. Not trying to offend anyone- we all have our opinions...

If they DO have wings on certain armour I hope they AREN'T FoW armour exclusive. They should be on 15k armours too, just make the FoW wings either a different colour, bigger, or both.

I think 15k Paragon's should have some sort of wings varying from armor to armor. Paragon FoW should have Chaos wings that are animated and flap and move a little bit all the time. When you dye your armor your wings change color...
