hey, as you can see by my join date i used to play gw back in the day of prophecies but then moved on to other things. I'm considering buying nightfall now and was wondering if anyone could give me a trial key so i could test it out before buying.

Hey all, I'm faily new to teh forums but not the auctions lol, anywho I started with factions, then bought nightfall, Now i was hoping someone has a spare Prophecies trial key, I've never played prophecies but heard its teh best of all 3..i also need it for some mesmer skills..and other skills that rock on prophecies, according to wiki...anyway im willing to pay in game gold? haha idk, but if someone has one pm me? thnx

FYI, if anyone is having trouble getting keys (people don't seem to have them often like they used to), try going to your local gaming store and picking up the trial DVD there. It's $1.99 and is a 10 hour/14-day trial of all 3 games. $1.99 is probably worth it to not have to sit around hoping for a key.

I'm a recovering WoW and Eve player, I've heard good things about Guild Wars, but none of my friends have played it. I'm a bit cautious of jumping on a new mmorpg. From what I understand, these buddy keys are like a demo version, right? I'd like to give GW a try if someone has a spare key I could use, I would really appreciate it.

Ya know, they should really make a feature on the GW website that allows you to get buddy keys. Either that, or they distribute them at local games stores (ie: EB Games).

I also hate to ask... and I'm not sure if this is even ok to ask - but does anybody have a full Nightfall key that they won't be using? Myself and 2 other friends own all 3 chapters each, and another friend has played a few times at my house... but just does not have the money. Sorry if it's not correct to ask for "full out" keys... but I thought I'd give it a try. Thanks!

I too would appreciate a trail key, if there are any left. Got a buddy at work who has quit WOW and I've been telling him about GW. He's interested, but I promised him a trial key, having seen the little white booklet in my Nightfall (standard edition) box that said "trial access codes" (or something). But when I opened the booklet, it turned out to have trial keys for the other games NCsoft makes, not for GW. So would someone redeem my word for me and give me a trial key for him?
