Don't you find it insane?
Getting to lvl 20 in the Pre-searing Ascalon is impossible as you don't gain XP anymore after you reach lvl 16!
How can you do then, beside doing Death Leveling?

Yeah, you have to reach the lvl 20 before goind into post-searing Ascalon. But i wonder how you could do that actually, as you can only farm till lvl 16...

i dont know of such a title, and reaching level 20 in pre searing is not possible anymore~

You will earn the title Legendary Defender of Ascalon if you reach Level 20 prior to the destruction of Ascalon. This title apears at level 5 like survivor. This title was added in todays update 10-26-06.

Death level involves leveling an opponent monster past or near your current level by allowing it to kill your character over and over. Remember there is no DP in Pre Searing. i dont believe the death leveling either... there must be some other way! are there not enough quests for you to kill enemies up to lvl 16 and get the rest xp from quests?
Seems difficult but more probable... also maybe gwen comes into it? to give you experience? maybe some mysterious quest...

How can you get Legendary Survivor AND Legendary Defender of Ascalon at the same time if you have to use the "Death Level" trick?

i just added up all the quest rewards (~10,000) and if u add that amount to the xp at lvl 16 it comes no where near lvl 20!
Have they introduces a higher level area or something? I can't believe ANet would base a title on a gimicky thing (almost a glitch!). And it would take months to level up monsters enough...

oh, and another thing - do you get xp in the pvp pre-sear (ascalon academy), if you are against someone your level?

Great, another title that none of my characters can get unless I delete them and start all over again, losing all my current titles in the process. It's like Survivor all over again.

There were so many good suggestions for titles Anet, and you give us this.

Gripe gripe gripe. This is obviously a nod to those crazies dedicated and innovative enough to get lvl20's in pre sear. There are those that LOVE pre THAT much. They even gave us back death leveling so that people can do it again (although I keep hoping to spot a lvl15 boss hiding somewhere).

It's a silly, crazy, stupid title.. and I love it! It that's not your thing, you should have plenty of other things to keep you occupied for awhile!

Off topic: anyone notice that the charr are a real pain in the arse after the update?

) The last Tyrian character I made was level 7 before I left. Took about an hour per level. I couldn't get out fast enough.

wow this title would take hours and hours of pure grinding, I mean i remember i left pre at a insane level 12 or 13 with my mesmer and i farmed charr for god knows how many hours lol, imagine going to level 20

I'm not sure if level 20 is possible in pre, but you can gain levels after 16. It's called not doing any quests. If you know how to kill char, get to 16 that way and then go back and do the quests.

The highest i've ever gotten in pre is 17, so I don't know.

You would have to be able to resurrect several times so the other player can be killed again and again until the enemies level, but the only resurrection skill in Pre is the Signet.
