Well this discussion was going on in the elite mission thread and I think (as of last night) if you go with people that can still earn points and get bounties you earn them as well. But alot of those people are killing mobs but leaving the monks to rez the dead ones so they can keep killing them over and over while they still have the option of getting bounties.

Ya I got up to about 9000 points before I had killed everything in the zone and had to give up. didn't think about the monk rez thing.

which zone was this at?!?! i think it is time i restart my dervish...i think if i do all the quests and wait to make it to the "9,000" point zone then you get to 7499 points (or somewhere before 7,500 but close). then go do a 9,000 run you can still get the bounties because your not castellan but 9,000 + 7,499 makes 16,499 which i plenty to max it out for KOABD. that is my best guess at how to max it out...i will prbably have to do this now...DAMN YOU A-NET!!!!

If you leave the zone, the blessings will be gone and the next time you talk to a priest (as a r8 sunspear) he won't offer them anymore. SO no, you can't

ok. so what do you do if you've already left ... cause you were one of the first people through that area and had no idea that a-net would be screwing you over? any suggestions?

It sounds like then certain areas grant this leeway for gaining while with a party member who isnt rank 8 a lot further than others, just like they shut uff at different times.
Im sorry you felt the urge to be rude to me, although I do appreciate that you weren't. Although my post was not rude, just statement of the obvious since you had asked a quesetion which was in fact posted as answered on this page after all. If I had never posted in this thread and asked right now the same question what would you answer?

So to sum up this thread the only way known to get this title is to farm without completing the quests up until the 7450 mark. Then go out one last time and get all of the blessings.
Start to kill mobs but dont kill the priests. Once you have killed all but the priests then move onto the next mob. Continue doing this around the map and eventually you will come back to the start and the monks will have resed all of the mobs back and you can start again. It doesnt appear that you can only farm up til 7500 and then complete quests because there arent enough quests to make up the rest of the 7500 in points.

A-Net has done some..."odd" things before but i HIGHLY doubt the would do that to us...not to bash anyone who has submitted an idea on how to get the title but...can we get one of the two people who actually posted the screen shots of thier title to tell us how they went about doing it, PLEASE.

Its been posted already and Is on gw wiki. We started at r7 and farmed till r9 from mobs that res'd each other.

I think my summary really said it all. But i do think the real question is where to farm? I was outside the crossroads yesterday and a ton of frogs were there. But i know htere are better places where you get 7pts per.
Im not that far in the game since i havent done quests. Where would you suggest farming for these points doing the mon res option.

Ok. I just confirmed the blessing-buddy non-castellan theory. Doesn't work. If the person your with doesn't have the castellan title, they get blessings and points, but if you do have the title, you don't get the points. Period.
Now, seeing as how I monster farmed my way up to castellan, guess my Tyrian-born character is just screwed? Since I've done every quest for SS points I can find and am only currently at 8023 with 360 SS points left in quests. If there's another area where you can farm points, please say where. kade

Personally I think getting the points from mobs that you have already killed is itself a bug.
You dont get exp or more items from res'd enemies.

I find it weird that Spearmarshall if the max rank.. I would of thought there would be Sunspear Legend afterwards, the name that was in the preview AND it would be rank10 so the signet would revive at 100% mana... 90% mana is just weird... well, since some people already have it maxed and (I assume) it counts towards KoaBD, I guess they took out legend and will leave it a 90% mana, or they will later add a R10 to the title (in relation with the elite mission maybe?)

Go to Chantry of Secrets and do some quests there(At Vabbi area). Should work(I had to do that, but i choosed Master of Whispers instead of the greedy Kournan).

In what areas? They won't talk to me in Turai's or the other areas where the bounty is 1. Do I have to move on to Nightfallen Garden, Nightfallen Jahai, Domain of Fear or the other later areas?

Any part of The Desolation (Sulfurous Wastes, etc) with undead. Awakened Acolytes use Renew Life, and Awakened Cavaliers use Signet of Return.
