Anyway, I've started that special series hinted at previously. Healbot is going International, to hang with peeps from Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia!

PvP Team and Random Arenas are about the only place you will see Smite Monks regularly. Otherwise, when they have to go solo or with another single person.

Generally, I only let Healbot carry Smite Hex. However, we all know she secretly wants to be a Smitebot straight outa Mordor (see Wintersday comic #2). Just recently she ran over to Cantha to cap Word of Censure...tried to tell me Dunkoro wanted it.

LOL...that's definently why she said what she said when they first meet Sunspears on Istan. Not only is her survivability better than Sousuke, but as a ranger, she's very versatile.

lol i do that to Sousuke all the time. But i think its a bit on the flaw of the storyline, since you get Zed as part of the story, naturally for me i would pick Jin over Sousuke.

Well, it's not quite so simple as that. If you go for Margrid, you'll also pick up a Ranger during the storyline - and if you have Prophecies, you'll have a necromancer from Olias.
So, basically, it comes down to what you want two of. You can have two Elementalists, two Necromancers, two Rangers, or you could have two each Elementalists and Necromancers at the cost of no Rangers (although I think that cost is too high).
The real gimme, unless you're playing a Mesmer yourself, is Norgu over Goren.

I'm choosing Souseke with a few of my characters. But every character who chooses Souseke also chooses Margrid later in the storyline. (In fact, with one character I'm playing through with a friend, I waited until after we decided on Margrid before going back and picking him up.)
Rangers are just too useful to not have at least one in your stable.

i chose sousuke, an elementalists damage output is just more useful earlier on than a shutdown.
