I have 8000 points or so, can't find any scouts/priest that would give blessings anymore & all quests (that are in explorable areas) are done.

Get your blessing while still be rank 7, and make sure the monsters can reanimate themself.
So you'll should be able to get from general to spearmarshall without rezoning.

Yeah i went to the crystal overlook with a guildy that was capping and earning sunspear points for bounties and I kept earning them to even though i didn't have the bounty. Not sure if it was a glitch or not and i didn't notice any point gain until afterward, when i was to tired to try it again. Either way I'm over halfway to 9 and I still have about 1k in quests to complete.

You can also get max chesthunter by playing through the game, though u did that in a huge month-long grind.

If you go to Gate of the Nightfallen Lands and press "U" you can see a portal to the east that you can't get to. Perhaps this is it?

I've also been looking for the elite mission in Nightfall.
I figured I'd throw out some observations and guesses about it here, hopefully to add to the knowledge and maybe help solve this.
Observations:
1. In Abaddon's Gate if you look to the southwest you can see the Sunspear Great Hall, in a 'Nightfallen' state. I haven't heard or found anything about a Nightfallen Plains of Jarin.
2. In Ruins of Morah, Remains of Sahlahja and Gates of Desolation the ascension pilgrims say 'The mists are not as distant as we were led to believe'. Nowhere else where you can find ascension pilgrims do they say this.
Guesses:
1. The elite mission takes place in the mists.
2. Probably accessible from desolation/wastes area.
3. The closed gate in Abaddon's Gate leads to the end-game area.
4. The elite mission has something to do with the corsairs. Several NPC's in Istan talk about what's next, and/or worry about the corsairs now that you've saved Elona from Nightfall.
Hope this helps or jogs someones memory who will share the info.

What zone is a good zone to max out the Sunspear title? I'm just curious how long it would actually take to get the max level title considering how dull that must get? :X

The Sulfurous Wastes is the best place I can think of, I got well over 400 over rank 8 in there, but I assumed I would be able to find enough quests to gain up to rank 9 so I'm not sure if I have enough. When you're fighting do so slowly to let the monks/paragons res.

I'd go for the title with the wurms. It's easy to kill a mad amount in a very short time. There is also a new 135 monk build and if you're lucky enough to have a monk, you could most likely do the monk res thing with a guildie that can still get bounties and you could just solo the mobs and the monks res the fallen.
