Regardless, unless the elite mission is 5 feet long, and consists of walking to the top of some stairs, that's not it.

As time goes on and we continue to search for the elite mission(s), I can say one thing for sure. ANet HAS the content in the game.... somewhere. If they didn't, they definitely would have responded in this thread by now, because they know how pissed off a lot of people would be if we later find out it wasn't even in the game.
So, we can rule out the possibility that they haven't put in the content yet. And, dang, I thought for sure it would be tied to the Protector title. Oh well..

With the Collector's Edition came a making of nightfall DvD, in that dvd they say that they gonna add more content of nightfall after some time of the release as a suprise.

anyone tried checking "Chantry of Secrets"?=P theres a locked gate there with a guard on each side..also it says the area isnt done yet, or something. if you ALT youll see the name of it..couldnt enter, maybe someoen else can? ^_^

u can get there when u finish the game but theres nothing helpful there yet.

I'm at a loss for new ideas at this point. I did try a suggestion of farming Sunspear points in Crystal Overlook last night when you can't get the blessing but your teammate can. If it worked before, it doesn't now. My Castellan teammate didn't get any points after I took the blessing. I know this was discussed earlier in this thread, as well as about 3 other threads on the same topic. I have to assume that getting Spearmarshal can't be a requirement to getting the elite mission, since they seem to have closed off what may have been the only "legitimate" way to get it. I know about the staying in the zone and killing resurrected mobs, but I seriously doubt, ANet intends that to the only way, especially since you lose the opportunity with any disconnect, error, or simply not knowing about it before you get the 15k.

If Sunspear points r required most had to delte their character and create a new one, because there is only 1 way to get the 15k points
U need to kill all undeads in a area, but not the acolytes. They will rezz all and u can kill them again
But if u got an err7 u cant get the max sunspear title.
So i don`t think u`ll need to have max sunspear rank.
I think they`ll add the area later, or u can get into it after an event or something like this

I would stop worrying about needing max or close to max titles. If you needed a protector or rank 9 sunspear title there wouldn't ever be 12 people able to do the mission. Whatever the requirement is (assuming it's even in the game) it's going to be relatively easy to get.

If the elite mission is going to be in the realm of torment, i think it is more likely to do with max lightbringer title than max sunspear

I doubt that, the Elite mission will probably consist of nothing but madnesses, arm of insanitys, etc etc. So having max Lightbringer on everyone who goes in would make it much easier.

personally, i would suspect number 2.
ps: i wouldn't be too surprised if anet really did so, giving the track record of what they did on Faction(rushing & annoyance systems)....

But seriously if theres any surprise, the surprise is going to be either auction house or elite mission...or something else like more storage options or greens.
If the Devs aren't answering to where it is, some say it might mean that its there but want you to find it.
On the other hand, they may not answer and introduce it as like a sorrows furnace sorta expansion....although an answer would be nice for all the folks looking for it and wasting their time.

Actually they were referring to the empty circle opposite the vortex on the map, which no one so far has found anything for. I'm putting my money on that locked gate in Abaddon's being the entrance

Most likely the mission isn't in, or if it is, the link from the rest of the game to it isn't.

Check out the map I posted on page 9. The locked gate in abaddon's is just like any of the 25 mission towns in Prophecies with locked gates in each one leading to the mission area.

Is very easy for anet... if the elite mission isn't yet... then remove the stygian keys, they don't have sense in the game if there are no chests to open with them. Of course from our pont of view we want all the content, and we always want more 
but if they have the idea to launch that elite mission later... remove those keys and it would be nice to have gaile or someone else telling us that isn't yet in-game and stop losing our time speculating 
why can't we reach the higher rank in sunspear and lightbringer titles (without 'cheating')? maybe we are all dumbies and don't find the way out, or maybe some things are not finished... anyway, we need some light in those 2 questions... elite mission and unrecheable titles.

I noticed something from Abaddaon's Gate mission, if you go to the SW side (left side facing Abaddon) and face SW, you can see some stairs, distant and below your height. If you pan the camera view you can notice some faint walls too, although looking straight on they are hard to see you kind of have to play around with camera angle to get them to show up.
It looks very similar to the view from the Mission outpost looking out at a Nightfallen Sunspear Great Hall.
In the radar you can just make out some yellow like the Sulfurous Wastes.

I'm going to assume that the teleport after you beat the game is bugged so that it doesn't work and I reported that to ANET (the one behind the dude that takes you to kamadan and the cutscene).

Stygian key might refer to River Styx, the main river in Underworld of Greek's Mythology.
English is not my native language but I remember couple articles where adjective stygian was lead directly from Styx.

Considering that some of the Titan bosses are named with Greek type names, that makes sense. Also,since Abaddon's world, the river of souls in it seems to be like the River Styx. You could be on to a little something jackie.

When you speak to Kormir at the Chantry, and she comes up with her dialogue, it says, "Kormir knows the truth behind many mystery's. Do you dedicate this one to something in particular? " And then several spaces below, is the option I'll be on my way.
I think you need to bring Kormir something, a truth behind a mystery to dedicate to her as an offering. There is room for other dialogue options in the box, but I guess we can't see them because we don't have the offering to complete the "quest?" Or maybe not bring something, but have done something? lol.. I dont know.. but I think the key is in what she says... dedicating this truth behind a mystery to something in particular.

Gailes "no comment" answer on the matter just enforces this view.
She didn't want to lie by saying "it's in and works" and she also couldn't admit that it is "not yet in". This is not Gaile's fault but it gives hints about the elite mission.
I don't they'll include it in an update and state it on their site. That would be an outrage as it was promised in the manual and many other sources. Besides the time for saying that it is not yet included is over. By now people would be very angry about that. Many hours went into the frenzy to gain entrance to that mission to a point people got bitter about it.
So, everything points into the direction that it is not yet included. A-Nets reluctance to state "Yes it is included". The many many hours many many people have played the game by now and found nothing.

Frankly I doubt that Anet is concerned if 'people would be very angry' or not. No matter what they do someone gets 'very angry'. Hell the idiots that are too rude/stupid/obnoxious to make friends are now complaining that heros make it impossible for them to find parties.

As for the missing outpost, it has 3 portals in a 'Y' shape, which is a bit strange, either you can reach it from two places, or it leads to two places. My insanely POOR graphic board, however, can see the unexplored map. Please see the below.

What about going to the Chantry of Secrets with the flower and Jundokos(not sure if thats it) Beer(its like 1 beer, for free out there in the middle? that you find in the poisoned outcrops?
