THe hint people are talking about, "Cantha Begins Trading with the Northern Regions" why do a lot of people assume its north of Tyria? Looking at the speculated world map here:
What if the 'Northern Regions' is the area to the right, further East from Tyria but way North/North East from Cantha/Elona. IF the New Campaign was on this end of the world, then future chapters after it could be based on this part of the world movingfurther East Uncovering more of that continent.
Also With it being a NEW chapter i also wouldnt want to see any dwarves, snow, charr, Mursaat or anything OLD from the previous 3 campaigns maybe some odd monsters here and there, but nothing else they all got too repetitive/boring/annoying after a while.

The above space looks a good guess, as it's about the same size as a new chapters map would be. But what the above map shows is that we dont yet have an entire globes worth of land masses, unless the 3/4 continents form some kinda GW Gondwanaland. Even then there is no polar ice caps or end to Cantha and Tyria we are a lot of land missing even if thats the case.
Buster
Then we would be looking at the map in the wrong direction, If we turn the map slightly to the left then the northern areas would be exactly north of the Desolation. Which would explain the quotes from the spirits in the Bone Palace after you have beaten the game. Everyone assumes north of Tyria because they see Northlands ( Charr area ) which btw we have been beyond the Northen wall in the Ascalon missions.

THREAD? you mean threat?
anyways.
What playable races are there in Guild Wars?
In the first chapter you play characters from the human race. In subsequent chapters of Guild Wars, you may be able to play members of other races.
http://www.guildwars.com/support/faq....php#alphabeta
So other races are a maybe, I assume they'll add stuff like that when they run out of classes, which is soon. Ch4 may be the last one with new classes or it might not even have new classes. There are only so many possible classes before it becomes redunant though new chapters will still add loads of new content and races? =P

Now, correct me if I'm wrong on this. The Charr hate cold lands. That's why they aren't in the shiverpeaks and can't cross them. I think the reason they were so quick to worship the Titans was because they seemed like Gods of fire, and the Charr love heat and fire. And, somewhere in all the lore, it does mention that the Charr came to Ascalon from the North right? Same with Kryta, they didn't come from the Shiverpeaks they likely crossed the lakes north of Kryta, from...north?! So I SERIOUSLY doubt that the lands north of continental Tyria are of ice and snow. Go into the northern parts of ascalon, and you see weird...lava cracks or something(They look hot lol >_>) So I think the northern lands are quite hot.
Also, aren't the Mursaat homelands, Janthir, either west or north of the Maguuma Jungle? That could be the next continent(north of Cantha, I dunno lol), OR a "country" in the new continent along with the Charr's homeland... I think it'll likely have a South American/Central American natives feel to it or a northern Asian feel to it(Russia and such), maybe both?
Feel free to counter me lol, I didn't go out and get sources for this. :P

Where did you get this map ? The map looks great but Cantha needs to be south of Kryta not Elona. " Cantha lies south (of Kryta), across the ocean ... past the ruins of Orr, past the islands of fire, past the crystal lands of burning sun, and beyond the clashing seas. Only the greatest sailors dare such a journey, I assure you."

Infusing armor in Chapter 4 wouldn't be a problem. Any foreign character who wants to have their armor infused already still needs to get to Iron Mines in prophecies to do it...but maybe Spectral Agony was a skill developped by one faction of Mursaat for the sole use of guarding the Door of Komalie...and maybe another faction of mursaat uses something equally as devastating.
...like an endless skill-chain of double damage Channeled Strikes...
But Ritualist Mursaat bosses...please?

That quote was actually taken from guildwiki. It's probably the only map I have seen posted by someone that actually shows you the land northeast of Tyria. I still haven't figured out what northern areas the timeline talks about though :/ Oh well, I really hope we get fight new races and possiblly be able to play a new race. I mean, how many more skills and armor can you add to to each class, we already have like a million spells and skills for each class.

Ok Me have a theory Here. They say that they are finishing the quest that were not finished right. Ok now when they say that they meant Gwen. Now it obvious that Gwen did not go over seas so she was maybe brought up north where Chapter 4 is going to be. Now what happened to Gwen no one knows but she was there during the Charr invasion so it might be a really high chance the Charr captured here and raised her for 3 years to be their flame wielding Queen,<<<<Evidence In Town beta attacks of firestorm.....Why Fire? because Nightfall happened 3 years after the searing and Chapter 4 Might be the fourth year or fifth year after the searing. Now the Charr worship the Titans because they are related to fire which means that because they worship fire, the charr lives in the cold regions of the Tyria World and other evidence is that they are all FURRY, THICK FUR COATS, to keep them warm you know. Also Gray has said Binky spelling adventure plus Raindeer in the Winterday Event. Also why in the Hell Charr would worship the titans, will Chapter 4 explain how fire titans manage to live or appeared in the cold regions? (maybe a north pole active volcano idk) Also Right After Nightfall the God Dhuum was still alive and was roumored to be dead. Now from wat I read from wiki Dhuum followers are the ((Titans)) plus the Emissaries of Dhuum, Terrorweb Dryders, The Fury and etc. Now Dhuum and Menzies both worked for Abbadon and they are both Gods and because Abbadon is destyoed what happens now and what will their followers do?
But yea there is my idea I put together in one for Chapter 4 Story or what might happen. Anyone wants to add?
Anyway about races btw I WANT ELVES lol

Elves will never be in Guildwars. GW stated long ago (around the time of the game first coming out) that Elves will not be in this game. They are used so often, and they want this game to have a certain uniqueness to it.

Thats not a "Elf" in the term most people think of.
Yes, your right it is an "Elf", but not the "High Elves of the Moon Forest of Jerbombomb of Yoochoochoo".

Ofc Dhuum is still alive there is no evidence to say he isnt since we did not personally attack him like we did Abaddon. Abaddons followers are in a highly Weakened State, Abaddon and his great generals are all destroyed. With no one to Rally for Against the 6 gods Dhuum and Menzies who are no threat to the 6 gods will simply get back to trying to take over Uw & FoW in there eternal struggles.

Well it is known from The Domain of anguish that the titans are Twisted souls that are turned into Titans in the foundry of failed creations. As souls they have no natural body. Then note when in Green Areas the Titans take on the aspects of the Greenery around them, while in the shiverpeaks they take on an icy aspect, and while in the Fire Isle they take on a rocky Fire aspect just like their surroundings. Also note that when they go through the portals in the Hell's Precipice mission they go through as Fire Like Titans yet when you face them they no longer appear in that form.
I could be wrong but it all points to the titans taking on aspects of there surroundings.

Very similar to Droughtlings/ Mesa's, with respect to the dry Elonian soil.

If someone can draw Please peace together a map that would be great. So far I see Elona attached to the cristal dessert but I can't find Cantha. I'm kinda new to that place and haven't had time to play much, but would really like to know how the map fits together and maybe that can put chapter 4 in prespective on weather or not they are going to add a new place or upgrade old ones? sorry if I sound like a noob I havn't been following the story after chapter 1 too closely and I'm paying for it.

I now have a much clearer view of the layout of the 4 campaigns:
Prophecies is the "middle" with elona off to the ease nearer the crystal desert.
The eye of the north map will be north of tyria possibly following the lines of the shiverpeaks.
Cantha is south of the other 3 campaigns on a different island.
The 1st picture in this thread just about prooves that Elona is East of Tyria. This could be part of the Shiverpeaks. Here is a link.
Now slightly a different topic but still on the layout of the maps. The subject of Gwen.
Gaile Gray has aparently hinted that the saga of gwen will be resolved sooner or later. Gwen started in pre searing in Prophecies and has not been seen since. Although she has not been seen there have been traces of her, prooving here condition. In old Ascalon you could find her broken flute, and somwhere else in tyria you could find a tattered cape. Gwen seemed forgotten in Cantha, but when nightfall was released tou could find a preserved Iris flower which is another item linked to gwen.
I will start a new thread regarding this topic. Here is the link.

I am sure we might see a little bit more of ascalon.
he city of Drascir, former capital of Ascalon, lies far beyond the protection of The Great Northern Wall, due north of Surmia. It fell into the hands of the invading Charr years ago.
Drascir was also known for its Academy of the Arcane Arts, the sister academy of Nolani Academy.
King Adelbern and Prince Rurik were born in Drascir.
As described in the Lore, the Tombs of Drascir, eternal resting place for the ancient kings of Ascalon, were once used as a portal to the Hall of Heroes. It is unknown whether the Tomb of Drascir is located in the city of Drascir, or somewhere further north.
(all taken from guildwiki, but of course i am not too sure how accurate it is.)

The side quests in the Realm of Torment help shed some light and tie some loose ends with regards to certain story elements in Prophecies and Factions:
The Charr invasion and The Searing were guided by the Titans. These demonic creatures were in league with Abaddon to destroy as much of Tyria as possible.
Abaddon was also behind The Cataclysm, the event which brought about the end of Orr. Terick, a demonic agent of Abaddon, tricked Vizier Khilbron into using the forbidden magic and destroying the ancient city of Arah. This was the objective of Abaddon who wanted to see the old City of the Gods crushed.
The Fortune Teller who manipulated Shiro Tagachi into murdering Emperor Angsiyan, the event which damned Shiro and brought about the Jade Wind and the destruction of much of Cantha, was also a demonic agent of Abaddon.
The destruction of the Tomb of the Primeval Kings was caused by Abaddon's power beginning to boil over to the mortal world. This also caused the various Chaos Rifts that appeared in different parts of Tyria, Cantha and Elona such as the rifts that appeared during the Dragon Festival 2006.
