Here's my idea to use up balth faction
Buy 1 skill point for a character (any character) 500 faction
Transfer Balth Faction to the Guild- 5k faction per transfer (guild can use it to buy new things and unlock secret stuff for the guild, don't ask me waht that's for the designers to decide)
Buy gold coins for xunlai account 10k faction for 500 coins. (this should do some good)
Transfer Faction into Title (talk to priest of balthazaar):
Warrior of Light- requires 250k Balthazaar transfer, +2 holy damage with attacks.
Warrior of Darkness- requires 250k Balthazaar transfer, +2 shadow damage with attacks. (once you start a title you can only begin the other after you get the first. If you have both you must switch between them to decide which bonus you get).
Buy new raw material space in Xunlai storage account 10k for 20 more raw materials.
Buy raw materials 100 faction for 10 coins worth.
Some of this probably wont' go through but it'd help keep PvP worthwhile.
More uses for Balth Faction! More rewarding PvP!

BlackSephir, the titles the coins the guild stuff (no clue what they'd put in) those are for pvp too. Duh! The tites will help in pvp and the coins can be used to buy runes. Also you can help your guild buff up. What else can you really do wtih faction. Why don't you think before you talk?

Some hings stick to PvE, some things stick to PvP. Flashy armor will be in PvP only. Ascended armor should stay in PvE. - Make a PvE character.
- Make her buy the armor.
- Take her to PvP.
It's not really about characters, but about packs bought.
If you buy a PvP pack, you get PvP only.
If you want the armor, you have to buy a PvE campaing.

The key point is that many PVP players do PVE, and have the gold to buy FoW, or have FoW already. Inability for them to earn gold is not a problem.
The problem is that you cannot use a PVE char in PVP without crippling your ability to move between builds and weapon sets. You would literally have to have your entire storage full of weapons/foci/wands/shields, many times over if you wanted to play on different primary classes.
That said, I would be happy if I had something to do with my faction. I still like my converting to flames idea. The new Tournament Tokens may be acceptable, depending on what uses they have to PVE players.

So Anet horribly screwed the tournament reward system and faction remains completely useless.

I think they could add one time use prizes like a great fish that jumps out of the water in random arenas or a fiery dragon that appears in hero’s ascent. The more faction spent, the greater the size/effect of the prize, with the mother of all apparitions for 170,000 faction. This would in effect be a useless waste of faction but I think it is better than nothing.

PVP combat is reward enough for PVP players. There is no need for a reward system for those that play PVP and have exhausted all their faction earned exchanging it for skills. PVP players don't deserve the elite armors of pve that was set aside for pve players. Though the elite I suppose are entitled to some of those skins as they have been added recently for the very elite players. I can accept that. But, nothing more for pvp players in the way of rewards. You chose to play pvp and bypass all the effort required to get skills and armors etc of the pve game so you should not have any or many of the advantages of the pve player who put forth his/her effort to get them and then get to pvp. /unsigned.

This actually turns out to be a better idea than one I saw earlier, which was to transfer faction into Reward Points. This is a much better system, because you actually have to have experience and victories in many different areas in PvP, and not just grind.

Well..today I joined the ranks of GW players to finish unlocking all items, skills, and heroes in the game. I usually PvE, but have gone a personal crusade to get the whole game unlocked by doing AB. I was actually getting excited thinking there might be a new title I have not yet aquired, only to find there was none for total unlocking. I would think that there would be one available to those ppl who have "earned" their availability of the game through PvP, as opposed to those who purchase PvP only accessability.
I am all for a priest of balth who would award items for faction; I like the idea of different skins for everything in PvP, but would also like to see something like the consumables traders where you could trade faction for goodies, or even gold (<--- is a bit far fetched, but I know ppl would support it...who doesn't want more gold.) Too say the least, I'm a bit dissapointed knowing that all my hard work to unlock everything has no recognition.
