1 thing i'm wondering. Is the only thing that ever hits you the wurm popup? Because if so then i could just buy some extra Shing Jea armour instead of spending 1.5k per piece.

Very nice work
I escpecially like the fact that every skill on the bar is used every time you take on a group.. Unlike some solo build where you only really use 5-6 skills. Don't know why
I tried it a bit myself, but it's too slow for my liking.. (too slow for farming purpose, that is.. not if the aim is to solo tombs for the achievement :P)

As for doing it in FoW... You can kill off anything that doesn't have a Shadow Monk nearby using Empathy.
The Shadow Monks can be killed using Backfire (if you have enough AL... sadly Zealots Fire does 79 to me cos im cheap
). A duo build could probably take the majority of FoW. 1 using Backfire, 1 using Empathy.

and 1 sin can bring like that skill that dazes and use that agisnt the monk making the monk very vulnerable and useless. Yeah this build might have some potential in fow as a 2 man team, my doubt tho is that there might nott be enoguh space at the start for soh to work properly they might follow and kill rastigan, i'll try it out with a freind and i'll see what will happen. Oh yeah once agin Thanks for the build, it's a lot of fun!!

lol, i got to last stage and then salvged 2 items straight after each other and got a code=10 and then i went looney like a chicken and started hitting stuff ect.

im pretty sure that soj goes thru shadow form since it is a hostile spell, i'll test it out and see what happens

It should infact go through shadow form just like holy wrath and retrebution since all 3 do not have you as target but rather the person enchanted with them.

Aye the worms keep killing me, I just don't do the tremendous amount of damage until they go back into the ground... and empathy lasts only very short on them.. any tricks??

The wurms are tough, first clear out area, then start SoH as close to the
wurm as possible, and keep this distance short, and eventually you can kill
him.

tryed this at UW and it is impossible in solo
aataxes kill u with riposts and deadly ripost because of dmg + bleed.
tryed dual with a Mo/N (to have mending + watchfull spirit + order)
results: This way u can solo aataxes and grasps but still at the rate of 1 per 2 shadow forms..... didnt try smites because had to leave
Tryed dual with a Mo/Me (visages + regen), helper with the blocks aataxes do, and still kil at the same rate, but this would solve smites probles (if it exists)
OVERALL: its possible, its not that fast

lure the wurms back to one of the bridges, standing underneath one the wurm will evetnually get stuck on the bridge above you and stop attacking, being pointblank range you should have no trouble attacking it from underneath.

Someone said earlier it doesn't work in UW. So I would imagine it doesn't in FoW.

And the reason it doesn't work in UW is becouse the aaxtes easily kill you using deadly riposte, wich aren't in FoW

Actually, couldn't you use the same strategy as the Rit/Me Solo Smite build where you just start the first quest of the underworld and aggro just the graspers. Then use dark escape to run to that "safe" spot?

I am gonna start farming tombs again when I get home from dis party. I'm gonna start a dual or triple run on 12 A.M. Hawaii. OH btw Any1 know what program to take vids? I wanna vid d whole thing. I said UW doesnt work for solo. I did a part of it in dual with a mo/n and n/mo and mo/me

I use gamecam for vids, u have a small gamecam symbol at the rightbottom corner, but its free and its pretty smooth. I'm currently playing on my brother computer, in a week or 3 I should have my old one back, if u haven't made it by then I will come to be ur camera man

well besides d run with daggers of One, this is another dual with a friend =] farthest we've gone so far. Bleh he got dcd and so he died.. sad story we had such a good run too. We didnt die until he got dcd. Anyways we dont use Henchmens when we dual =]. ELVES Ftw!!!
  edit: my last time to dual is tomoroz. Got skool next week monday so i gotta get my work ready and stuff so... if u wanna dual pm me tomoroz if i r on and id be happy to. =]

I think Backfire only works when it's "sucessfully" casted. Since Sf negates dat, then backfire wont backfire. Anyways orders really isnt needed with the new mods airji did cus of d recharge rate, u cant really attack unless u cast empathy on someone and empath has 10 recharge and ur dag skills takes 12 recharge UAF_Omega

I use fraps, allso a good capturing program, never used gamecam so I can't say wich one is better, but fraps has allways worked well with me.
note that when you start capturing, it puts a lot of pressure on your processor unit so the gameplay it's smoothness can decrease while you're playing, wich might eventually lead into less accurate farm runs. So its allways best to let the person with the best computer capture the whole run. |
