I always used to customise pretty much all my good weapons, however now we have Heros to equip I tend not to customise as much as you can't then move weapons between the heros belonging to different characters.

I customize my warriors weapons...hrm i guess most valuable would be my req 8 gold sephis axe (prenightfall drop) and my req 8 gold shadow axe from NF.

The most expensive item I recall customizing was a req. 8 15^50 Gothic Dual axe that I modded up. I don't really regret doing so, as I still have the char and still use the axe. Besides, money is money. It's not hard to make and I'm not going to sweat over it in a game.
The second most expensive item I've customized was my only Rago's Flame Staff drop. I figure it's a green, and greens come a dime a dozen these days, are easy to farm, etc. If I really want the money from it I'll go dig up another one somewhere. I did it just to say that the staff was mine back when I thought it was worth a damn :P

My warrior has all of his weapons customized (all Tyrian -5 energy Hand Axes and Plagueborn Mauls) other than his Icy Dragon Sword. The IDS is currently my favorite skin, but it's not the "end all be all" for me like my Hand Axes and Plagueborn Mauls. Luckily, I only use my sword when I'm playing stance tank.
Heck, even my casters have all of their primary wands customized. The only items I use on a regular basis that aren't customized are my +5 EN HoD sword of enchanting and my +5 EN Wicked Blade of Fortitude, since my casters don't attack with them.
I'm about to customize my Wintergreen Wand to my warrior. Anyone know if you can add a 15>50 inscription to it (I haven't tried yet)?

Being an Assassin, it is vital for me to customize as 20% constant is well worth it.
Probably my most expensive weapon would be my req12 +5e Dragon Scythes. Certainly not regretting it though, as I bought them for about 2.5k.

I got a gold r9 Air Staff with +15e, 5e^50 and +29HP. Right now my Ranger and Sin uses this same staff; Ranger uses it for trapping and my sin uses it to spam Deadly Arts in AB. Soon I might make a PvE ele and have it use this for Air Magic.

if it actually went past that, i honestly cant say where the dwarven would stand.
personally i value my no cond serpant over my crystalline, however, it cost me less than i would expect an 8 15.50crys to go for.
same goes for zraves axe, personally i value it higher, but i dont know if it would sell for more or not.
the no conds, are, imo priceless for the most part, but they dont always have the highest going rates. spils 8 15% axe only cost him 400 ecto, which is pretty ludicrous when you consider it is the ONLY 8 15% no cond axe. granted, the skin wasnt the most popular.
