i dont think they would go throught the trouble of making a new model for a minipet, teh pheonix in game now is of asian mythos, not like the Egyptian one that is of fire.

A Mini Optimus Prime...
Your Optimus Prime mini-pet converts to a Tractor Trailer with the /Transform command. The Tractor Trailer has 500AL and is immune to spells and conditions. It also has +30 health regeneration. Whenever an enemy melee/projectile strikes Optimus Prime, it explodes. No loot or XP is given, but a Huge mushroom cloud explosion with lots of different colours results.
Optimus Prime delivers such memorable lines as:
"In this vast universe, is anything truly... forever?"
and
"No sacrifice is too great in the service of freedom"
(kind of like Heroes' ramblings... but done by Optimus Prime, therefore being good)
Whenever out of your pack in PVE, Optimus Prime can be used to carry 1 player and up to 7 heroes/henchmen. When inside Optimus prime, you gain his defensive buffs and he moves at 50% increased speed.
Optimus Prime can also be used in PVP. You can't use him as transport, but whenever anyone targets him they also suffer from explosion (but aren't really harmed, it's just visual).
Apart from that... perfect skill balance, etc. But if you give me Optimus Prime I won't be bothered.

I'd like a mini Iboga. I love the mini's of enemies that annoy the hell out of me. The whiptail devourer is still my favourite so far.

I'm with the people that don't want to see any more minipets. I have a few, but they don't really do it for me. For a special birthday present, I would like to see a special hero. A hero whose PRIMARY and secondary professions could be chosen by the owner. That way, it couldn't be traded, wouldn't really affect game balance, and would still be something that the veterans of the game could show off. Now I'm not sure how the logistics of that would work (the armor and weapons type would have to change as the professions did), so maybe we could create our own hero, much like the PvP creation screen? Either way, I think that the majority of the community will get much more use out of a hero than a minipet. I also like the idea of being able to put your name on a green weapon, but please PLEASE do not give me another minipet to rot in my storage with the others.

Different Obsidian FoW armor that is accessible to only 2 year and older accounts.
Really, I would love some real armor for a necromancer rather then some spikes protruding out of my skin!

Personally, I like the minipets, but I agree that there are getting to be far too many of them. If the new auras, dances, or all the other popular ideas won't work, I'd like to see a new spin on the minis: mini disguises. I see a lot of people want disguises for characters, and I can't think of a better way to implement it than letting you transform into the minipet. There could be an emote or item or something that lets toggle your appearance to match whichever miniature you have out. That way, the rarity of certain minipets - like Kanaxai and his ilk - would be more appreciable. Obviously, you'd keep all your skills, attributes, etc., but you'd look like a full-size version of your pet. I could see a few big pets- like King Ko- er, Mallyx, causing problems, but you could always just disable their size measurements so you could "wear" them.
Failing that, it would be nice to apply your mini's skin to your non-party allies. I'm referring to minions, pets, and spirits, and anything else I'm forgetting. You could use an emote/item/whatever to turn on the feature, and all your minions, pets, and spirits would look like an appropriately-sized version of the mini.

Lil black bars covering the genitals n whatnot...that would be friggin awesome. but the disguise idea would be great only if theyre non tradeable or something to that effect to keep them from running the market for a couple months like the mini pets did at first. A title track would be great...or some sorta item that can help you attain things like the explorer title track or things like that. Compass of exploration: while active, the area around your character that uncovers land doubles in size, also make underground areas uncoverable. That would be 1337ness. Mini pets are always a kinda cool idea so long as their functionality and the ones you can receive changes from time to time. Or at least turn them into mini mules to carry loot for us XD. Of course i can dream and added storage would be great (ex sup rune of holding increases bag sinze to 20) or more tabs for character specific armor storage, mini pet storage, weapon vault, etc. or make bags where you can put items in them and then un-equip them. Basically unlimited storage if you stick one bag filled with items into another bag and unequip that bag and stick it in another bag so on and so forth. that will completely null all requests for more storage and if people complain about organization.....bags are dyeable so color co-ordinate ^_^. anyrate i can dream cant i!!! give 2 year olds a party hat that can be reproduced only for that character at the hat trader. cupcakes/birthday cakes for the sweetooth title track. Ale or wine for the ale hounds. Free access to elite missions for that day only. Fireworks, snowmen summoners, ghost in the boxes, etc. all have unlimited uses for that day only as well. Increased green and rare drops. Golds in chests have increased rate. double xp for yourself and heroes as well as double glad points, champion points, commander points, and fame while using that character. Basically a day to do anything you want with that character. At the end of which day you get a version of divine aura that effects the head or feet. XD

Another thing why dont you make mini pets do things as well in pve. For instance they should attack for 1dmg or use spells that do 1 dmg. Or a mini mehnlo could heal you for 1hp

Miniatures would be the easy way out...
How about a special weapon/item for 2nd year birthday's based on the characters profession -- maybe with 5-10 different skins.
As a Mesmer I would be most intrigued by a special piece of armor...
Or maybe to make it simple a birthday hat.

I am curious how it was determined that more minis are what people wanted.
Edit: Okay if you absolutely have to have yet another round of mini-pets and don't figure out something else to do, then how about this: Give everyone mini storyline (not general monsters) characters that match each player character primary profession when claimed, ie: my necro shouldn't get a mini Rurik in the box.

We, players would (of course) like to have cool things, then cooler things and in the end the coolest things (ain't it the same in real life?)
However we should be carefull with our wishes. Asking for top rank weapons, not needing to go out and try catching them could have some risc... what would be the challenge in GW if we have all we want.
I like the minipets and there is a load of suggestions in this topic. If aranet decides not to take mini's in the end, I would suggest something fancy, but something which hasn't effect on armour level or such. For example: if new armour design, it shouldn't be max, but it should have the level of the armour, the player has (if he buys new higher level armour, the level of the BD armour should increase to). I suppose this example is a bit complex, but it's just to mention that I'm afraid getting superior stuff from birthday presents might dammage the pleasure of gameplay over time.
PS being able to show more as one minipet at the same time would be funny I think (imagine a character with a horde of minipets on his/her tail)

I think another thing that would be cool to add with it is a personal emblem embroidered on to your armor for your account with a bronze border for one year, a silver border for two years, a gold border for three years, and a rainbow border for 4 years.

I gotta say, after the Searing and so many hints, Mini Gwen is practically a must, or a quest to get a Mini Gwen.
Mini Glint, Lich, or Iron Forgeman maybe? It's hard to decide, most of my fantastic ideas for mini-pets are very personal. Would be nice if we get a present of last year's miniatures and one for whatever this year's is, you know as in two gifts.
Greedy maybe, but satisfied.
I'd like a mini Inquisitor pet to have follow me around, as a declaration of dominance. Good buddy Saint Spazzer and I double teamed him to death after the rest of our team felt like taking naps in the snow.

Um...considering the scale-down of other minipets from their larger counterpart, the hydra for instance, Mini Gwen would be only viewable by electron microscope.
