I am entitled to my personal opinion, and others are entitled to theirs. If they should happen to concur, then so be it. My hope in expressing my opinion thusly is that perhaps later bonus items won't be similarly designed to incite my gag reflex. That's all.
Yesterday, when I learned about the upcoming promotion in PC Gamer, I was all set to line up to buy my copy of the magazine. Now I'm not at all sure that I will waste my money on it, particularly since I can just read the info about C4 on wiki or thumb through it at the bookstore. Other than promises of "exclusive" bonuses, I have no need to buy YET ANOTHER gaming magazine. I'm just glad they released this image so I didn't get disappointed later, after I'd already spent my money. Honestly though, even a crap minipet doesn't make a dent in how excited I am for the next GW release. |
