Am I the only one who saw the Asura from the pictures as being full size, not the mini pet itself?

Eh I think its cute, but I agree it looks like it belongs in WoW.

I see this character (If the rumors are true, there will be other races) walking like Gwen. Skipping along like the little mouse-rabbit the Asura is.

Don't lose your time on this... No one cares. Everyone is just too greedy, and we are "whiners" in their eyes.

If we want one we'll have to buy one in-game to some greedy, filthy rich guy. This is just lame. They should do it obtainable for everyone. If not, don't do it at all. These are all little things that tend to spark conflicts, and it's pretty unfair that only a hand full of countries are chosen. Even if they were different from the last time, but no. USA and UK gets it all, every time...

I really hope Gaile Gray reads this thread and tells her opinion about this, I bet she has a very good explanation for it..

As far as the pet itself.. I like it. It's always refreshing to see anything new, even if it's just some useless vanity toy, but what do I care. I can't have it.

is there any reason to believe that this mini pet is for something to be found in GW2, and not GW ch4?

with Grey Giants going for around 10k, it shouldn't hurt to buy one off someone else

I'm going to assume this isn't some elaborate hoax and that ANet really is releasing this Asuran as a minipet.

Its worth noting that Asuran is one of the races mentioned in the GW2 "news" thread. I doubt we'll be able to play them(I know I have no desire to) and they'll be NPC's at best. Also, we have to take into account the fact that this is a minipet. The actual size of the Asurans may vary from the size of the minipet version.

This creature by itself looks completely creepy. Though in-game it probably would look better and plus pretty cute based on how Gaile said the thing interacts. At least bet on this to be a future npc race at the very least. Others are right in that it may not fit with the Guild Wars look but we haven't really seen one in-game.

As per Austrailia possibly not receiving the mini/mag...I quote.

"Several of our media partners will be running more than one feature about Guild Wars, so we will expand the regional publication list to provide additional details as they become available."

I mean this could possibly indicate something regarding wider distribution.Until Gaile posts something to the contrary I would speculate something would be made for available Aussies.

WTF, of course they will release it. It's already on the PC Gamer cover. And why else would they put it on their website? It's not april 1st yet.

Zappa, first off her name is spell "Gaile Gray". Second, please stop posting about how much Anet hates those other European countries! Did you stop once to think yet that maybe those are the only countries so far and maybe yours will get the same code? Obviously not! Well sorry into turing that into a flame post...but oh well it had to be done.

Now back on topic, I think I will get the magazine just so I can read the article and not just get the code for the mini. I realy can't wait to hear the official news about the fourth campaign!

P.S, Zappa please do not have another post trying to flame me out because I do not plan on getting in a big arguement with lots of spamming. If you do however, I will simply not post anymore replies...

I hope she remembers that there are a lot more countries in Europe than those listed. A videogame should not make me feel "less-than-others" due to my location.
