When I heard the news about Guild Wars 2 I felt like Childhood was ending ): I was really disappointed that I will not be able to move my babies to new Guild Wars 2

So I thought I would show how much I've spent on my Awesome Unforgettable Irreplaceable Chars!
You should also do so, may be Arena-Net will Change their mind after they see how much time and effort we've put in and spend. Including people who like I have 2 Accounts

played since the start that makes 22 months i guess
yet i cannot give numbers on hours (cannot play at work)

though i like guild wars alot, i can still say i played way to many times

itll be somewhere between 1000 and 2000 (still a wide range though :s)
will have to check tonight.

well thats something that you have to make up for yourself indeed,
some people find it enough to 'invest' time in the game and get joy in return

others will only start talking about investing time if they get something out of it
that is more materialised than 'joy'

I believe you.

I've played for ~3,350 hours in 19 months.

Despite my misgivings about GW2, being able to transfer characters over, as much as I'd want to, defeats the purpose of making a new game, and not just a continuation of the old game like chapters are.

-1800 on my main character
-600 on my second character
- 200 starting/erasing/pvping on the rest.

Would love to have that feeling you get when you start a game like GW and from the first battle you KNOW your in for a great game that'll just get better.
Expansions don't really give you that feeling so when GW:2 comes around i personally want to sever as many ties as possible from the first set of games.

I won't look at it as hours invested and lost..they wern't lost they will undoubtably play a big part in my choice to "invest" in GW:2

Ive already picked my character..Race - profession - name - weapons all in anticipation, and if i get another 3000 hours out of GW:2 it will be time well spent ;-)

ps. would be cool to leave a family heirloom for my next character in the way of ..umm, geee.. i don't know a perfect sephis for him to weild when he gets his atts up^^

I have about 2300hrs on one account that is 22months old, my other account which I dont play much is about 1800hrs and about 20months old.

But we can see how much free time people have on there hands lol by how many hrs they have played and there are quite a few.
