I don't see how you can sneak past a wall of enemies without aggroing them there... yes, you can run by them but that's not the point. You basically had to fight through them if you were around the level they intended the quest to be done at. But hey, I could be wrong. I just want to know WHY anyone would go there unless hard mode offers some additional quests there.

Whoa. This looks seriously imba, Any ideas? o for the love of god, someones PLEASE SHOW SOME COMMON SENSE!, this is either a very pathetic practical joke, or anet are having a chuckle at your (me not included) expense, please, anet have been known for some small grammatical errors, but "this skill makes all your melle attacks are made" thats just bad, come on people, get a grip
one more thing, its "hard mode" not "suicide mode" with those skills 1 person could clear out all the DoA areas within 2 hours, anet aren't that sadistic.
right
Torturous Lash :a spam-able skill that causes 5 conditions....thats just over the top.
Flame Call: ok this would make sense, though theres nothing else like it, and to be honest (also, check the recharge time, WHY IS THERE A COMMA?!)
Infernal Rage: im saying nothing, hats just silly (and does it last forever?)
Torturers madness: iv spoken of this already, and will not continue apart from to say, omg how are people believing this
shroud of ash: a spammable skill allowing practically invulnerability....this just gets better (also, notice, apparently lasts forever)
Putrid Flames: another "how are you believing this" skill.

Move 3000% faster? I can't even imagine how fast that is! I think it would be pretty hard NOT to find a GMC then...

As a interesting note, is you change back and forth between English and another language (I tried Polish) you will notice differences, which means that they where worked on fairly "recently".
Torturer's Madness: Used to increase Max HP by 45%.
Shroud of Ash: Was named Shroud of Death. Different spelling in the desc.
Putrid Flames: Where called Putrid Breath, had cold damage instead of fire, had a spelling mistake, and the conditions lasted for 10% seconds :P
Infernal Rage: Was called Back Against the Wall.

common sense = tortorous lash -> cracked armor -> GW:EN monster skills, not hard mode
angmar_nite
I personally think these skills DO exist, but these are like the capped attributes required for them. Either that, or there is a coop 12 party final missions which is plauasable.
As for the 9, cast time, Rurik's knock skill during (?) ruins of Surmia has that cast time as well. (only with diff numbers) It represented 20 minutes.

you must be really bad then I think 3 players could kill one depending on if the 100 damage really turned out to be 100 damage and not "500" damage like in DOA

None of you have mentioned that these may possibly be GW:EN hard mode skills. Hard mode is supposed to affect everywhere minus pre, GW:EN will become part of everywhere when it's released.
Or they could simply be joke skills as staded before.

They could easily be dev skills that they are using to test new features and skills.
But saying that they could easily be new hard mode monster skills too.
We'll have to wait won't we.

And even if they do end up in the game, so what. We pretty much steamroller stuff in PvE as is. If those come in hard mode, great. If tehy come in GW:En, great. And it's not like one monster will have all of them at once. As someone else posted earlier, don't panic.

Don't worry its only Gwen's skill bar after searing.
Muspellsheimr
There was an update when I logged on that is not yet listed, and the template does not work for me (may have been part of the update...)
However, if this is not a joke, my guess is that these skills are for developer testing, OR will make an appearance in Eye of the North, probably as the skill set for the Destroyer.
We will see eventualy where they come into play I think.

Yep, the new update got rid of the template code. Now it just says "..." for the class of the skills. My guess is that there were more to be found and they hid them from players as well. (Update was about 1.5MB ~)

Dammit. Now we have to wait. Laharl the Angel
Figured as much, i have yet to update

Game update notes are up, and nowhere does it give us an idea of what these skills where for
Oh well onerabbit
This is all Gaile has to say -_-
fenix
Obviously the skills weren't meant to be on the main servers, so they removed them. Which says to me that they're gonna be used soon...

Lol are we going to have the "*shuffle foot* they never existed" approach then? Mr Toraan
From what I have heard those skills are overpowered so ANet can test them on a deeper level. If a skill gives you a 3000% speed increase but it is useless in most instances (This is just an examble so don't reply with, "OMFG you 1di0t! Thats 1337!!!11!!!") why put it in the game? So, don't get your pants in a bunch because it is not likely anet will put those skills on the Live Servers without modifying them to be balanced; or at least as close to balanced as they can be.
Sorry if somebody already said this, it is 11 PM and I'm too lazy to read through 5 pages of, "OMFG!!!11!!!" posts. Bryant Again

the pre sear bunny says.
they are the common monster skills for when hard mode comes now that that freaked you guys out. MOD EDIT: Every time you use excessive space, Gieco saves 15% by switching to Chuck Norris. So don't do it. Xenex Xclame
The skills codes got changed into something else( i'll bet they didnt get deleted )
They were simply skills that the devs could use to cheat and farm the mobs they wanted. This of course contradicts what they have said before that the devs don't have "hacks" on live server,we seen them ourselfs. Of course Gaile denies knowing anything about it,because that would mean she couldn't use her hacks anymore. Keep trying to find those hack codes guys,we'll stumble on them again soon,as the devs wouldn't go and delete their hacks, just hide it from the normal players. Yes this is just me writing some OMG the devs cheats blablabla , just because Gaile couldn't have the decency to at least say ,that she knew about the skills , but couldn't comment on them, instead of just hushing and hiding them. unienaule
Gaile often doesn't know very much. She isn't a DEV, she's some kind of wacky title she made up because she doesn't want to be called PR. So she only knows what other people want her to know. Also, she is not well up on what skills do, for example, (a LONG time ago) the buff to swirling aura that "never happened and was always that way i swear to god."

Becuase all of the random monster skills and effects from the first three chapters were able to be seen via templates up until a couple of months ago. The skill codes haven't changed. We just can't see them anymore. here erfweiss
Sheesh, if those were hard mode skills.....means people might complain about something OTHER than Soul Reaping.

Actually, it would make sense these skills are being used at the Flame Temple Corridor (an example given several times already), or by Charr anyway. Flame Call to alert the others (possibly dragging all groups within 3 times aggro range) Putrid Flames since Charr like fire and all, Shroud of Ash since Ascalon is pretty much burned to the ground.

Looks right to me but theres some bad typos in the skill descriptions so it could be fake, well if they are real at least it win't be as hard as DOA.

1st of all if its in "hard-mode", no1 will FORCE you to do hard-mode
2nd, you do not know if anet will use it...
3rd, even if those skill would be used by monsters, there are always be players who will try to find out a build to counter them... just like the beginning of DOA... people where like:"damn this is toooooo difficult!"
but now there are even 2-man-farmers -.-"
got the point? 1: ANET has a nasty way of forcing you to do things, when you do not want to do them.
2: Always assume the worst will happen.
3: And the 2-man-farmer builds will be nerfed, giving the monsters the advantage once more.
Got my point?

balance pve?
what do you mean by that? do you mean that critter skills are, "too hard"?
that these skills (if legit) are, "too hard"?
read shiro's skills then...

QFT. It's likely that these skills were created, implemented, and removed last night, all without Gaile knowing. The devs don't have the time to tell her everything, especially tiny goofs like this. It's not their fault we made such a big deal out of it :P
