Indeed, my comment on one of the works earlier in the compeition was made purely from a 'screenshot work of art' point of view, not from the assignment point of view that was the basis for the competition, which is why I personally don't have any problems with the judges desicions. They had to work out who did the best jobs each time, tough job. 
Again I'll say I think the work throughout the competion from all the participants have shown either real glints of genious or herculean efforts of stamina to acheive! Grats to all.

Firstly, Lokii, you rock!
 I love your work, and your monk is such a cutie. I'm sorry you had to leave, you definetly deserved your spot up here.  I just want to say thankyou to Lady Nilene for this competition again, I PM it to her every week and she's probably sick of it by now, but she rocks too! It's been an absolute blast doing something like this for fun, and I've enjoyed every minute of it . (and ohmygoodnessfinaltwo, holy hell, who let me in here? :P) I'll just do my best, and see what happens.  The underdog might come in and steal the show? Good luck Szei ! I can't wait to see what happens, it's been such an entertaining ride....

Just as a more objective note, having the aura does indeed make it a thousand times harder to fulfill the assignments (in here and in TMW), because out of all the dozens of emotes you can use only a few, so I'm definitely very very surprised and happy that I ever made it this far. Isn't it so that the plus-sized models always drop before the final three? Oh, and would people be interested in yet another party/get-together this week's Sunday? Tomorrow, that is, we could host it at SoS again. Miha The Warrior

As the fourth judge I can say that between the last two no one has stepped forward to become a clear winner. Both of you have had so many great shots. I think this really is going to come down to the final shoot and interview. My vote is far from close to being made, so do your best. | Good luck to both of you in the final round.
LadyNilene  It's hard to believe, but we are finally at the final two standpoint and now, Arala Starsong or Szei Ren will be Tyria's Next Top Model. The competition started with twelve new faces, and now only two are left, but only one of you will win the grand prize!  For your final week of competition, you guys will need to take your final photoshoot as well as do an interview with me. Now let me say it will be extremely difficult to make arrangements for meetings, but I'm going to do my best to be on when I can and hopefully we can get it done! I will send both of you my schedule sometime later when I'm back from work, since I won't know my work schedule till then anyways. So just go ahead and think about what you want to do, mentally prepare yourself, and just do what you need to do to really blow the socks off our feet for the finale lol Alright guys, I'll see you later! lol, this week was another flop, i sent my schedule and everything as you can see on Jul 1-2 ish, and before you know it, the next day, guild wars makes their announcement of the return of the dragon festival which occurs on the times that I'm suppose to be free for the week lol So while I'm on waiting for our contestants, they either have their away sign on or is doing the event, of course I don't blame them, I was having fun myself, but all in all, the event pretty much canceled out any advances lol This week should be more proactiv, I'm free Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday Evening so hopefully everything can and will be done within those days!
I would ask for the poll to be set up, but i would like to wait on it since the exit interview and the final picture could make all the difference. So we'll continue to wait on that.

Actually I haven't had any lag issues at all :O. And if anyone sees me online but Away, don't hesitate to say hello, I'm usually there and playing (or afk and back in a moment). The away status is more like a synonym for "don't disturb unless I know you :D".

 I think I'll create a mod for all the other professions as well. I'm saaaa~ved! (oh and I'm going to be away for the whole weekend; there's a large scifi/anime convention on the other side of the country) EDIT. I've now done all the core professions, but the new auras seem to be a bit trickier to get transparent. EDIT2. Finished!

THE RESULTS MUST COME, I think 3 weeks of waiting is a little over the top. There is no reason why there should be this long of a wait, I doubt taking a picture with Nilene is that important to the contest, just judge on the overall portfolio and finish this thing.

 I thought this was an awesome idea, but I can't make mine anywhere as pretty as Szei's, but it gives you an idea anyway. (lol, you can tell I was terrible at jigsaws as a child. )

I have to agree that the exitement is wearing a bit thin now that the competition's stretched on forever. Nilene, what's happening? Any chance of seeing the results soon?
I can understand if there's some real-life issues stretching the competition for a week or two, but it seems kind of unfair to ask the models for a perfect dedication to the contest, only to have it stretch on indefinitely at the last possible round. Some news on the situation of the contest, any kind of information, would be very welcome right now. |
