Mass error 7 :D

Not I. What makes you think it's a "mass" Error 7?

Yeah, it looks like all the servers did a roll back (or something equally insane). I lost the last 8 hours I did playing festival games (lost all title track points) and all the tickets have returned to my inventory - so technically nothing lost but time.

Maybe there was some serious problem, so they just rolled the servers back 8 hours? An exploit or something?

EDIT: Hundreds of people are reporting the same error in game.

EDIT2: Could be an anti-afk-title farming measure ANET put in? Even though I was active the last 8 hours while playing festival games, I never zoned, so maybe that's how it's determined? It looks like I got all my money/tickets back... but I still wish I hadn't lost the 30k on my lucky title

I didnt lose anything and Ive been logged in for the past 5 hours. No err7's for me. And still logged in as i type this.

I seem to have lost only a couple of minutes, so maybe it's the amount of time since a player last zoned?

Chatting to a guy on US server he has seen no rollback - has happened on Euro for sure

I lost about 4k off my lucky title not sure about unlucky..happened right after the fireworks.

I am also on the euro server.

happened to me on Euro server at Shing Jea. Lost a load of tickets, lucky and unlucky points! Not impressed.

Did happen allready the last time when the rings were around. First A-net auto kicked people that were AFKing the lucky title and then quite a lot of them were banned for "botting" (which was later on reversed of course).

Wasn't the "last time" but rather an event before that.

Guess it was only euro server.

I got kicked out of a map I was vanquishing. I don't feel like doing it all over again >.<

I wasn't rolled back though, unless... need to check if I need to redo any quests.

Same here... lost about 2 hours worth of my lucky title.

They wouldn't/shouldn't care about people afk'ing the title. It's having the desired effect of people blowing loads of cash without much return. It takes gold out of the game which is something they are trying to do at the moment.

Imagine they'd actually tell us why it happened though. Gaile is currently online but of course it's impossible to get in to a district that she is in.

I think they need to start looking at something that allows her dialogue to be seen in all international districts of the town she is currently in.

This happened during the first day of the last Boardwalk-enabled event, on the Euro server only. If this is the second time it's happened, I think it should be looked into.

Have the odds been played with as well? Could that be the reason for the rollback?

I was playing for around 2 hours this morning. I bought 1 000 tickets and when I was kicked from the game I still had around 800 tickets left.

I've now been back in for 25 minutes or so and I've already lost close on 400 tickets. Can somebody please tell me/us what the heck is going on!!!

just rushed back from work to check, haven't been kicked or logged out thank god.

Seriously anet need to look at this and fix it. Last event a guildie of mine got rolled back while he was asleep so lost all the time before the rollback and then a good 6-7 hours ontop of that till he got up.

This is especially worrying now seeing as they have upped the max level for lucky/unlucky titles.

Just came from Gaile tonight... this is probably what's happening

I played for about 10 hours yesterday off and on, and I was never AFK for more than a minute or two at a time between chatting with guildies and organizing skill templates.

Their "afk check" must be really really stupid, because it found me - a normal boardwalk player

Apparently you're not allowed to legitimately play the boardwalk games for extended periods of time, either.

So now I have to hit a key every so often for hours?

I really don't see why they would do this, as someone mentioned before its taking money out of the game.

The thing is, it seems to be tied to zoning - even if you play the boardwalk games - and even switch games and talk and run around - you'll still get rolled back.

Apparently the ONLY way to avoid rollback is either change districts/log out at least every hour, or never play the boardwalk more than an hour at a time. Which I think most people would agree, is completely ridiculous.
