However, Jon the Gladiator is doing his part, fighting for his guild and winning tournaments. His guild supplies him only what he needs to fight, nothing more, he lives a sheltered life. Wait a minute, he's winning in tournaments, right? Surely, they should get something for that. I mean, Jon the Gladiator earned it, right? Some say he worked harder for it than even Joe Monsterkiller. Why should Joe get all the glory? Can one truly say that Joe is working harder than Jon?

Joe gets all the glory? Um...PvErs get zero recognition. PvPers constantly sneer and look down at PvErs, carebears who only care about cake. The only ones who get any recognition are the good farmers. Even those who worked hard to get FoW get called e-bayers, or "FoW is ugly anyway".

I do agree that PvPers should get rewarded for their effort.
But they should be rewarded with something relevant to PvP and not taking something exclusive from PvE.
Give PvPers PvP-ONLY unlockable armors (Once unlocked can be craftable in PvE somewhere far and difficult). Give PvErs some incentive to wanna play a PvP character.
If PvPer wants 15k armor available only in PvE, let him/her PvE. Incentive to play PvE.
The reward system is rewarding PvPers PvE content without PvEing.
How is that fair without letting PvErs get PvP content without PvPing?
Someone answer me?
I want to gain Balthazar Faction from killing monsters. I want fame from killing monsters.
Thats only fair. Follow the logic. One side of the equation must equal the other. Do you see how ridiculous it is once you flip the equation to favor PvE?
