330hp Rt/Mo Vengeful Spirit Bonder -Quick HM Farming!

Don't know if anyone has tried it but I realized you can kill the kuunavang that drop the Archaic Maul from the DaW Contest. Just stay away from the boss he's too much of a pain.

That being said, I do want to run this effectively because I put a lot of work into gathering components, capturing skills, etc.
Well any invinci build is kinda difficult to understand and use if you don't have much farming experience. Spirit Bonding is actually harder than 55'n.
First thing, you don't farm anything in Normal Mode with Spirit Bond, thats your first problem. Second, is those Tengu in Jaya Bluffs are hard to kill and the necros have skills that can kill you, so I don't recommend you farm there just yet. I recommend trying to practice against some easier enemies before takin on bigger mobs, or enemies with spells. Practice the build outside Marketplace, you can farm Jade Brotherhood Knights pretty easily...
Always farm in Hard Mode, especially on Newb islands... If you are in NM on a newb island, the enemies are only lvl 5-12 and won't even come close to doing enough damage to trigger Spirit Bond. Another thing, study the skills to get a better understanding of them and how they work, and find out why HM is usually needed... also you will understand why you need the lowest armor rating possible.... If you don't fully understand how all the skills work, especially spirit bond, then you won't know how to use them correctly. Once you get used to Spirit Bond, you will have no problems with the build, depending on enemies you are farming of course. Just don't get discouraged :P
Contact me in game and ill help you out, give you alittle lesson on using it. I've done it plenty of times before with people that were having problems, and they all caught on within a few minutes. my IGN= Rez Dogg

Yeah I did, but they have alot of interrupts (Savage Slash), which they tend to spam like crazy if you aggro too many... but im sure if you only take acouple on at a time, you should be all set.

Getting annoyed here, trying to kill Yeti's outside...somewhere. Going for rt boss green.
10% of 330 = 33 = No spirit bond, PS is used in conjunction with VwK I assume? How I do I even stay alive with 100+ damage mobs, without VwK? Possibly manage 1-2 VW before dying. ReZDoGG

Like any other invinci build, you keep Protective Spirit up at all times... Spirit Bond is to keep you alive anytime you need it. Most of the time you won't need to use Spirit Bond while VwK is in use, and mainly only use it while Vwk is recharging or while gathering enemies. Spirit Bond triggers before PS, but you will actually only take 33 damage of course, but still get healed from Spirit Bond... You gain 47hp each time Spirit Bond is triggerred, and that is more than enough to stay alive and counter any kind of degen. Only time you need Spirit Bond while VwK is in use, is if there are spells or skills that are not triggering VwK... Any damage from Spells or AoE won't trigger VwK of course, since the enemy actually has to hit you to steal life from them. This is not much of a problem at all though, just use Spirit Bond anytime you need to keep your health up. Also, make sure you have 15AL and that you are farming in Hard Mode to avoid any complications with Spirit Bond triggering. Some enemies, sometimes even in Hard Mode, don't do enough damage to trigger Spirit Bond... This mainly happens in Normal Mode, and only a few enemies in HM. I have a big list of enemies that are possible to farm, be sure to check it out. Well, hope you get everything worked out... shouldn't have any problems with the build. I've taught people (that really haven't solo farmed before, or just a plain newb) how to use this build, and once I showed them, they caught on pretty quickly... Once you understand the skills, you should be all set. Spirit Bond is actually the only skill that can be difficult to use and understand, everything else is pretty simple. It is a Spirit Bond build, so of course Spirit Bond is one of the most important skills, without it, the build just won't work. If you don't have Spirit Bond, check out my 105hp Rt/Mo builds. ReZDoGG
Update: I found a new farming area! It is pretty good. It uses the M.O.X quest line to farm the "P.O.X" mission in Marketplace. I am currently farming it right now, and I plan on making a video as soon as possible. Just doing a few test runs to get the run down good. It has alot of assassins! best thing about it, you farm Disguised as a Jade Brotherhood, can't get any better than that. New missions/quest = Possible New farms. so far im liking this quest, just checking see how far I can farm into the mission. Will add video probably tomorrow, be sure to check it out. Only negative thing is, there is disabling interrupts from Elite Rangers. Possible to avoid, but dead if you can't. Once you kill them though, ur all set. Jus cast everything before aggro, and use Pain Inverter on them.

Sounds interesting; what kind of items do you see dropping on average? Anything to write home about?
Annatar Hunn
hey, it may just be being very dumb but I have a question: why the need for the lowest armor rating? I don't get it? :S I'm thinking if you have more armor, you take less damage... no? o_O

I like Kapppa just outside Gyalan Hatchery in Maishang Hills (don't use Retribution here though 1dmg output.. better replace it with a PvE-skill).
Another spot is from Maatu Keep to Pongmei Valley the Stone Kirin and the assassin boss. infamous16

Another spot is from Maatu Keep to Pongmei Valley the Stone Kirin and the assassin boss. and how many times do you think you can farm an area before the drops start getting worse? Elite Bushido

Hey guys, I'm not too sure if this matters, but is there a specific weapon that works best with this build?
Skinny Corpse
It's all in the O.P. under Weapons/Items-section.

I know, but I really don't speak that language
Is there a collector or specific green staff I should look for? Snograt

Paired with an inscribabled Restoration off-hand with 20% HSR ("Forget Me Not") and 10% HCS (Swiftness). This will give you two chances of 20% HRS of your Restoration spells, and possibly double your chances of getting half recharge on VwK. You also will get +27/-1 Energy. HSR = "Halves spell recharge 20%" HSC is a typo, should be HCT, ie "Halves casting time" in this case 10% as it is a Swift staff head. Elite Bushido
HSC= Halves Skill Casting... dont seem like a typo...

See, we're splitting hairs here on something that doesn't really matter but, as I'm a pedant:

maybe you can expand the thread by posting a list of farmable dungeons

Is the 330hp Rt/Mo the cheapest to get started?
Seems like every other profession/build starts with a pretty steep startup cost. Marty Silverblade
Optimal equipment might cost a bit but the armor is cheap.
philo
The cheapest would be a Rit Spirit Spammer, I guess, because you will be able to run it with the armor, equipment and possibly runes you normally use.
Once you made some money with it, get shaman insignia for your chest and legs. Levothar Kingdom
Does this Still work
Marty Silverblade
None of the skills have been changed, so unless there was some abstract nerf (I've never heard of one, so I seriously doubt there was one) it should still work. Spirit Spam is probably better though. I couldn't get this to work before I got angry and gave up.
Nemesis_Siscely
no was wondering if this still worked since the skele's came into play?
JayLee94
I found this build ineffective against monsters healing themselves, any tips?
d_fens Raging Ranger Bob
Loving this old build, just one question.
How do you deal with the Rt's in Wajjun Bazaar? There healing is killing me and my energy Thanks. Spiritz
Been ages since i used 330 rt but if i recall the way to take the rits down was timing , i think they used to heal every so often so if you can suss their routine you can spike them after they heal - its slow sadly but does work in the end.
The Mancer Man
Been doing the Halycon Job Quest with no problems....until now...about the fifth run in and Spirit Bond just does not trigger...anyone else ever noticed this I assume bug....???
dasmitchies
Killing the rits in bazaar requires either scourge healing or my fave Pain Inverter.
kariemindstorm
im quite fond of this build and recently remade my rit im just curious as to whether or not this build is able to get past the skeletons of dhuum?
Marty Silverblade
Probably not. The attacks from the Skeletons ignore all defences. Bone Spike will do a fixed 100 damage, EVEN IF YOU HAVE PROT SPIRIT ON. That said, Spirit Spamming is a much better method of farming for Rits now than 330.
dasmitchies
Spirit Spamming is better for SOME areas. 330 is still faster for certain farms like the halcyon job. 330 is best for farms where a 55 monk or spirit bond monk worked.
