330hp Rt/Mo Vengeful Spirit Bonder -Quick HM Farming!
Abedeus
Really great build - I used up 5k on Rt/Me UW farmer, then went on a quick tour, killing Fire Imps and Tengu outside Lion's Arch. And guess what? After 20 minutes, I got my money back!
Can this thing farm IDS in hard mode? I guess it'll be a bit harder than with monk, but I think it's usable?

i think it is.
You only have to use npc's to get to the cave.
Then lure them with a longbow and stay at the maximum of their wand range (it's higher than their spell range, so they will only attack you).
Then just use VwK

Too time consuming to try to farm. Only thing you need to worry about is their Maelstrom interrupt spell. Like Dopefish said, pull them so they are out of their spellcasting distance and you should be alright.

sorry, but i doubt this build can farm HM IDS. but who needs it? you got enough awesome places to farm anyway.
anyway, my reasoning is such:
will the wand attacks trigger SB? i know in NM, even with 15AL armor, they do about 10 damage with wands. even in HM, will you take enough damage?
NPC's to run to the cave? in HM? good luck not wiping on the summit / avicara. (Hyl Thunderwing especially.)
P.S. why farm em in HM anyway? AFAIK, their droprate is the same in NM. (i know it's easier to farm in NM.) <-- might be wrong on this, not sure if they're considered rares so drop more in HM.
anyways, in short, love the build ReZDoGG, but keep it out of mineral Springs, and leave fast IDS farming to the SoJ Mo/Ws.

anyways, in short, love the build ReZDoGG, but keep it out of mineral Springs, and leave fast IDS farming to the SoJ Mo/Ws. Yeah I forgot about them not doing much damage by wand. And farming them I wouldn't know much about, since I've only tried it maybe once or twice with warrior. NM would definately not trigger Spirit Bond. I wouldn't recommend trying it either. I suggest farming some of the places mentioned on thread, and places shown in my videos. You can make a decent amount of cash fairly quick.

This took around 1 hour and 45 minutes. I killed just about everything besides Grub insects and the Plants. I also used a Full Sup. Salvage kit to salvage everything I picked up to not miss out on anything. It wasn't a bad run, could have been better if I would have got more gold item drops, I only got one! I usually get around 5-8 golds there. If I would have got more gold rops, I would of ended up with way more profit. All in All, thats alot of enemies to solo! how often can someone say they can kill that many in one run? Good area to farm.
Here is the pic, check it out: Attachment 45994 Awesome area...only killed 146, got 6 golds (Including r13 Colossal Scimitar), 9 purples, 2 tomes, yellow dye, 2.5k plat, some materials and a lockpick...not bad @ all. Thanks for the build and location

Equipment: * Any full set of 15 rated Armor(lowest possible) in Shing Jea Monastery. Just wanted to know if u need 15AL or can u use any lvl armour as I've got some Rit armour just lying around
Vexed
This has been covered earlier in the thread, but here you go:
Lower AL rating is recommended because it is more likely to trigger Spirit Bond. (If you have a higher AL, the damage you take - calculated before Prot Spirit triggers - might not reach the breakpoint needed to set off Spirit Bond's healing.)
This does not prohibit the use of higher armor, but with your 15 AL armor (the lowest you can purchase) you will have the highest chance for Spirit Bond to trigger, and therefore gain the most efficiency out of that skill and the build.

Hey ReZDoGG, you think it's possible to farm the Jade Brotherhood Knights outside of The Marketplace with this build at lvl 15 with the 15 Attrib quest done? I'm going for survivor but I don't have NF so I can't use a Hero Bonder.
Thanks
Thanks
Abedeus
As with all spirit bonders, you just need to have Spirit Bond heal over 60, and sure, you can farm them. Just need to lower health with sup runes. And it will take longer - Less att points, less damage from Retribution/VwK... And it's not really profitable at Normal Mode.
Aqualung
My interest is farming til lvl 20 and then start farming in HM to get Legendary Survivor.

Yes, in fact, you can run the build without armor in several slots (particularly the chest, since that's where you take the most hits) if you're that determined to have it trigger absolutely every single time.

Thanks If you got all the skills and equipment, I don't see why not. But going for survivor with Spirit Bond having a bug can be kinda risky. Make sure you got 15 rated armor. If you want the build to be alittle safer when VwK is down, make sure to take SoA if you can. Its also alot safer to take on just one group of 3 jade knights at time, so u don't accidently forget to renew Spirit Bond. The build takes some time getting used to, mainly because how Spirit Bond works. As for the attributes, just make sure you got most in Restoration and Protection, then put rest in Smiting.

I use my 5al starter armor. Hardly ever have a problem.
So I'd say, Yes!! use it, you won't regret it.

Lower the armor the better. 15 AL is just the lowest you can possible buy from an armorer. So if you got a full set of starter armor (5 AL), it would only be better to trigger Spirit Bond. But it won't make that much of a difference on most of the farms. But, You might beable to farm some places with casters that do very low wand damage that wouldn't normally trigger Spirit Bond with 15 AL.

possibly found a bug....Caromi tengu wilds(Bergan) use [skill]Shatter Enchantment[/skill] but it removes all 5 enchants instead of just 1. this has been happening 2-3 times per run and i wipe immediately after. i am only aggroing 1 wild per mob so they are not hitting me with multiple copies. just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

I've discovered after multiple runs of the Halcyon Job that it's possible not only to farm the assassins, but also the kraken spawns and often the Oni and Naga on the way.
Of course, those are not as mindless and easy as the 'sins;
the krakens love to load you up with degen, the naga will toss around concussion shot (though not very accurately), and the Oni will hit you with Shadow Shroud, which can ruin your day if you don't know how to handle it.
Naga and Kraken you just have to get lucky and dodge interrupts and keep spirit bond up and you'll pull through.
For the Oni: hit PS and SB as soon as you see them spawn (they can't cast Shadow Shroud that quickly), then wait for them to rush you. Soon as they do, hit VwK and they will probably break themselves before it expires. If 4 Oni spawn, you won't kill them in one cycle of VwK. You have to hit PS and SB again when Shadow Shroud wears off (they refresh it pretty quick) and spam vengeful weapon, but you can pull through with a little luck.
Hardly foolproof, but you can take down a few more mobs and get a few more drops - I've gotten lots of gold Oni Daggers this way.

Iron palm usually dont knock you down unless you have a hex or condition on you.

(I Have Prophecies and Factions T.T so a alternative skill from them) You can use anything to help out. Basically anything useful for your farming situation/s.
I been taking Wielder's Remedy to UW. Been tryin to test it out on removing dazed from graspings... But I don't do many UW solos and I haven't needed to use it yet.

If you are farming them Luxon Sins in the quest "Hacylon Job", you shouldn't be getting knocked down at all. So, make sure you got the Hacylon Job before farming that area. Otherwise there will be mixed groups instead of all Sin spawns.

I must say I'm impressed. I have just got round to trying this and it's very nice.
I made a pretty detailed guide on a farm I do in the First City. Uploading to youtube, I'll put links here when it's done

You can take out all Skale, Insects and of course Undead in the area. Try out Issnurs Isles... its a pretty good area to take out around 200+ enemies in a run. I have vanquished 244 enemies in my last run in about an hour and half.

The run I did focused more on the undead. I'm LOVING the amount of Ancient Shields, Sephis Axes, Dead Swords, Dead Bows, etc, that drop for me there .

Awesome Build. I've been using it lately to great success. But are there any other good places to farm in nightfall other than plains of jahran, fahranur the first city and arjhok ward?
Stevy
whats the best weapen for this farmbuild?

Tomazz and Stevy, both of those questions can be answered by reviewing the thread or even just the OP. There are several places the farm can work and many weapon combinations that people like to use.

That's the Darkness at Kaitan quest, only available for the weekend out of Shing Jea Monastery (talk to Imperial Guard what's-his-name in the center of town and do his quest progression - there's 3 easy ones before you get Darkness).
Of course, if you never complete the quest, it should (as it did last festival) remain active indefinitely after the event. The naga here are a very, very easy farm for this build.

flipfly2004
ive been farming that quest and got myself a req 9 15^50 sunqua blade and gold bo-staves
ReZDoGG
I farmed this quest since last festival and was happy to hear there was going to be second. Just because I wanted to farm there again. I would have mentioned it last festival, but I kind of wanted to keep it a secret as I barely seen any farmers goin in and out of town. So I knew there were only a few that knew about it.
Darkness at Kaitan quest is one of my fav. farming places. Last festival I tried farming it soon as I seen all them naga. I got hella golds, and managed to get req 9 15^50 Sunqua in the first few runs. I also managed to get three req 9 gold sunquas to drop in one run, on that last festival.
Last night I managed to get around 25 gold drops in about 2 hours total of farming. I was on fire and couldn't stop...heh. Wish the quest would stay forever... I enjoy farming this quest more than most other places. I also got over 60+ Monsterous Fangs just from farming this quest... along with Claws, War/Ele tomes, Lockpicks. Definately a profitable quest. Take advantage of it while its here for the week.

Yep great build RezDogg. I have been using the street justice quest which has made me 100K+ so far. I liked it better than the other one because there are jade warriors and eles to kill on the way to the assassins.
Will try out the festival quest tonight. Great Job!!!
