Yes he did, which was VERY weird. And I want the 999 damage skill...

Bottom could be the Mursaat Temples as suggested above The top left one is decidedly in the Charr homelands.
One could wonder what it is, it looks like a blueish spine, very odd kind of structure. It could be a Charr Temple, the Petersdome of their Shamans.
Anyways:
Very crisp 0.8 MB version of the GWEN-Map (resized version of the 21 MB map), 1969 x 2219 px:

They said something about him using cheats, so they could quickly show some of the new stuff.

All of this look pretty cool I'm just wondering how big the dungeons and carverns are gonna be and will they be added to your map? The one thing that bugged me about SF was that i could never get a map of it, because everytime i went somewhere else my minimap was wiped. Anyone got pictures of rit armour? - Only PvE class worth playing

Did anyone here notice this new explorable area?
This area is found in the red circle on this map:
I wonder what the ghostly looking river delta area in the north-west part of this explorable is?

I wonder what the ghostly looking river delta area in the north-west part of this explorable is? I noticed it...it was one of the things I commented on in my previous post...it's set apart from the rest of the areas so I'm guessing it has something to do with the Sylvari...since they don't seem to be mentioned much. The area looks like it could be an area where they could concentrate on nature...since that's what they are supposed to be...nature spirits.
I'm guessing the delta is a marsh like area..or something...something with low levels of water with land dotted across the map.

To me the white areas look like something you can walk on, like spider webs.
They seem to taper off to connect to the paths. Like ramps.
Or....they could be tunnels underneath the ground, but still part of that instance.

You guys remember the Wizard's Tower, floating off the edge of Kessex Peak? (Also visable from Fisherman's Haven)
Well, I've cleared 100% of the Tyrian map, and that place has always been partially obscured by clouds.
I've always wanted to check that place out, and was hoping GW:EN might offer the chance. well...
As you can see, not so much with the clouds. Could simply be some UBER GM cloud clearing skill, but it does leave room for hope. Conjures memories of Cosette.

I would love to explore or find the purpose for the Wizards Tower in Kessex Peak. There must be something powerful linked to it, considering Verata wated to get inside so badly.

Ya, I capped those armor images from the E3 videos. The 'sin armor (1) seems to be a total re-skin of Imperial set, though, so hopefully we'll get more variety in different sets.
There doesn't seem to bee all that much aboveground explorables, so the content better be good. Us who like exploring aren't gonna have a field day this time.

The tower is visable in all unfoged versions of the Tyria map.
So that has nothing to do with GWEN

yup if i remember right gw:en will also add something 2 the exsisting prophecies map, like the tarnished coast and small isles around the sunken Arah, so its quite possible that there will be new areas other than those.
fRag_Doll
The GW:EN preview map is un-fogged, not 100% explored, but completely without fog at all. Notice how the unexplorable areas look like concept art?
Those parts are covered with fog on the in-game version, and when a map is explored to 100% there are still borders of fog around every explorable area.

Is it just me or did Orr look amazing in those vids
I think your right that it's not a 100% map rather a never fogged in 1st place map

No Orr in GW:EotN.

I do believe it is Orr that is shown in the video since he says that it IS Orr that has risen out of the ocean. Plus the area is shown on the map. Mind you that they haven't revealed all areas on the map, only a few to excite us! A lot is still clouded.
JeniM
So is it Orr or Ore? hehehe
I can't decide if the gates to other areas lead to more surface or to the underground areas, but i bet that is the full above ground map
(if anyone from Anet wants to join this thread i'm sure it would be appreciated)

Having read this thread and viewed the videos, it's clear to see that everyone has gotten a lot of cool new information from our presentations at E3. However, in the midst of the information, there were some errors or some misstatements on our part.
So I've posted up a clarification page on the Guild Wars Wiki, and want to invite you to read the page to see the few small comments that we need to clear up. If you have questions about the clarification, I will try to answer those questions. Link to Gaile post:

Aww, now GW:EN doesn't seem as cool tbh. Bad move there ANet, making Orr rise from the sea would have been cooler, ahh well guess you can't get everything. But what is that area on the map then? where Orr is supposed be, this map seems fake if this is true.
JeniM
So the area with floating boulders thats risen from the sea in the interview isn't Orr

By the looks of it the area your talking about is just another Asurian Area.

now that sux . Hey a-net be smart and make a mini expansion u can buy from the online store with the floating ruins of orr
JeniM
OK your not getting this
In GWEN there is an area of flying rocks and huge gyroscope looking magic things
Watch the interview, he says this is the land of "word sounding like "or"" while walking through an area of flying rocks

I never said there wasnt an area of huge gyroscope looking magic things. All i said is that is not Orr. I even posted my confusion in the thread which has the two videos....well before Gaile posted.
The guy described Orr and then said the Asura went there to escape the Destroyers. But the Tarnished Coast was the place the Asura were said to have escaped to. And then while in that same area (with the flying boulders) the person playing switchs to the map....and is shown to be in the Tarnished Coast
This guy somehow confused Riven of Ore with Orr itself.

That location where there is now rock on the map has always been known as the location of Orr, I'm 100% sure about that. The question now is, who's confused? Gaile, the dude talking or the person who made the map? I'm more and more leaning towards Gaile.
Orr...or what remains of it. lucifer_uk
Can't wait to get exploring.
There are loads of portals going to no where on that map. So its safe to say if its real its not finished or they didn't want people to see what's there just yet. Bryant Again
Goddammit PR guy...That whole thing with Orr got my goddam hopes up.

one cataclysm sank Orr, so why not make another one push it back up?

I think GWEN will be amazing and I'd like to see that they put as much love in the new maps as they did in Pre-Searing.

I took the liberty to take a closer look @ the GW:EN map.
And found some stuff. 1: there is so much unused space 2: I found some spots that are just copy pasted on there like in the far shiverpeaks there is a square ontop of a part exploreble 3: in maguma between tangle root and riverside province there is a river u can see the copy paste lines there 4: the new part of the map u see a delta river since when does that river flow to the lake above divinity coast from the original map of tyria there is no river so there a some flaws to fix But overall i have a good feeling about it. sorry to do this but it just cought my attention Willow O Whisper

Also the river has always been shown to flow into the lake above Divinity Coast. If you're talking about something else maybe you should circle it on a map so its easier for us to find. Sparda
