like 1-consumables.
2- weapons.
3-armor.
But not for removing it completely. I don't think that would work:P

Rank 2 - consumables.
Rank 3 - weapons.
Rank 4 - armor.
That would mean that by the time you finished an area through the story (all quests) you'd probably be able to get the armour, or at the very least only have to rep farm a small amount.

The player should work for the armours but not grind, some people are really exaggerating how it only takes an hour or so to get the title.. i got r5 vanguard and it took approximately 4 hours of grinding.
Just put a stupidly hard quest in to unlock access to the armour crafters for each group or something :P

I did Asura grind just for cool shades!
Well worth it, but all said the way it works now is fine. Now people will think I'm even cooler when they see me knowing it cost more than just gold and materials.
I don't see a reason for it to change, there are things in the game I don't like but this isn;t one of them. It's a challenge, so? Take away the challenge you take away the satisfaction.
That's my 2 cents
> If somethings worth doing, it would have been done already.

How about a tradeoff.
Leave it at Req 5. Upon completion of the game or particular stages, drop the requirement a rank or two as a reward for accomplishment, depending on the level of accomplishment. For example, finish the Asura leg and Asuran armor req drops to 4. Complete the game and the req drops to 3.
Sure people who get "rushed" will still be stuck trying to earn extra points, but anybody who played the game as it was intended probably has at least a rank of 3 or close to it (or in a lot of cases, a lot more) and the rank requirement is meaningless for them anyway at that point.
Just my two bits. Not that it will happen or doesn't have flaws.
