Hey ,
Just wanted to know the views of all you on this matter , I personally im very annoyed at the lack of effort put into the new armor sets , especially the end game armor that looks like badly retextured RECYCLED versions of older armor , my male monk deldimor armor does not even match - the pance look like there off another armor set to the top and i'd wear my sing jea set over it anyday. utterly dissapointed.
The game to me feel's rushed and recycled , even the end-game green weapons are pathetic - brohn healing staff skin ... just wow.
If your feeling as frustrated as me about the lack of effort put into this game , please share your thoughts and maybe , just maybe anet will pull there finger out and release some original armor skins for us to enjoy.

I disagree and think it's fine that that some are recycled.. it's just a little expansion and you don't need the armor unless you want it. It's better than nothing... I don't mind have two similar variations.. i still want them... i'll still be happy.. they are different enough. I might have been a little dissapointed but I'm over it already.

They have a lot of new weapons, and made the PvP only now for PvE, which is a great thing, and the monsters are nothing special because all monsters are 'reskins' of other monsters. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm going to kill them all anyway. But the armor! I saved up atleast twenty stacks of materials thinking I'm going to buy atleast one set for all of my characters, but then I see the armor and think: Wow. I didn't buy the armor it copied, why would I buy THAT? The disappointment hit like a wurm's seige.

First of all, I think dwarven armor isnt supposed to be a full set. Because parts just dont match xD, I think its just there so u can buy a fancy gloves ot boots to match with your fancy combo...
But i may be wrong ..maybe ANet really did horrible job on Dwarven armor...maybe not matching isnt on purpose

Some professions, like Warrior, do in fact have a cohesive armor set from the dwarves, while others like Elementalists, only have the common armor pieces to choose from.

yeah but at least some of the armor in night fall was new. Vabbian, endgame, ancient...
Apparently the difference of 2 new professions, ACTUAL new armors, a much longer story line, and many new skills for pve AND pvp ....is $10..

I was pretty aggravated with the NF reskins, but with Eye of the North, this is ridiculous.
I mean honestly, what were they thinking? Did they actually think we'd like the exact same stuff except with a few different things? It's like they fired the Prophecies team and just replaced the entire creative/arts team with a block of wood.

Well considering this is THE last content package we will be getting before 2009 (hence GW2)... I think they dropped the soap on this one. Quite disappointing.

if there's one or two set reskin i can accept that, but most of the gwen armors are reskin. what's the point of re-skinning in the 1st place? i can do a better job with textmod.

Anet's lack of passion for GW:EN really disappoints me..we, fans, pay for our product and we DESERVE what we pay for..not a bunch of reskins of monsters, armors, weapons, etc..it is ok if they want to focus on making GW2..but we waited for more than half a year..and what we got in the end is a total disappointment..with half a content of every episode of GW..a lameass ending to the GW series..

The armor in Eye of the North just isn't as NEW looking as the armor from Nightfall/Factions when they came out, and then unlike previous games, they link drawn out, boring time sinks to it all.
Maybe it's just me, but it's somewhat insulting to a player's intelligence. Rehash existing models, and throw time sinks on it and expect the players to drool over the "new armor" to rush to grind faction.
When it was decided to drop GW and start making GW2, but make 1 more expansion, I'm betting the enthusiasm wasn't too high anymore for creating fresh new models for GW.
