What is your OMG not another one item?

I have the same problem as Darkobra, I get a stupid amount of fiery dragon swords, both max and none max! The first couple that dropped I was pleased, since then though it's a case of "whoop de do, another FDS.", followed by yet another Koss/Jora getting a nice new FDS. That and my wife tends to be quite happy about how many of these I have, she keeps nicking them for her heroes.

Use to be raven staffs..now it's white highlander blades. I get 2-6 every time i'm in norn country.

I donate them to level 5 nub Wammos in Ascalon / Shing Jea.

Whenever I get a Fiery Dragon Sword, if I can be bothered enough not to merch it on the spot... I'll take it over to a newbie area and call out that I have a free sword for a warrior in need.

It is so amusing to see their little Mending-splashed eyes light up at the sight of a Fiery Dragon Sword... and they're so delighted when I give it to them, completely oblivious to the fact that it is a genuinely crap weapon.
Seriously... you should try it some time.
The humour is totally priceless... and you'll be helping to maintain a stereotype! ^_^

I also agree...Raven Staves are my bane.

Argh every single time i get to halls and win, i'm like zomg, i'm gonna get ghostly, and then or it is flame of balth or some crappy ritualist offhand req 13. Darn things. But i will get mini one day, that's for shure :P

Same here. I always used to find one or two high req ones, whenever I farmed chests in desolation. Just got 3 in Frostmaws. At least one was R9, but it's not a skin I care for.

Any unique item I get turns out to be a hammer.
Have you tried selling hammers, its impossible.
I did that farm in unwaking waters with my Mesmer for 4 months, yes I made a lot of money but I never gotten a golden pheonix blade, I just kept getting hammers.
Now the first I weapon I get from a dungeon quest turns out to be a hammer. evil hammers.

Collectors items and crap materials. Skale fins, scales, bones, and collectables worth nothing such as mandragor husks and things as such.

They never come in an amount where it would be more proftibale to keep them in my inventory rather than drop them for another non max white item.


And when I need either material, it immediatly stops dropping -.-

1. Smiting rods.
Why do they even exist? In fact why do white items exist? Just drop the cash and save me some space and time!

2. Non-max stuff from high lvl bosses? As if!! Are you trying to tell me Abaddon was using a blue 10-19 water staff? He can just keep it.

Def alot of raven staves and fire wands, like some ppl here. I also get waaaaaay too many holy rods and truncheons . . . lots of truncheons, good gold ones and crappy purples. They are everywhere. And troll farming, even though I am expecting them, mountain troll tusks make me cringe each time I get one. I also had a fun time when over the course of a long quest in NF, a guildy had some quest on where Hekets only dropped their leg meat . . . there were 40-ish of them laying around after a while :-0
