We tried doing stygian with this and found that the hungers raped us to bits,any way of getting around them touching you to death?

We just did stygain veil and found if pull/agro small groups, the hungers are not a problem. Apon killing one group, we stood around close to where they spawned and killed the groups off one at a time.

Shit or not, it's one of really few working - me and my guild we were trying to do it our way, but in the end, sooner or later we were failing, the city being prolly the only exception.

I disagree, our guild do it our way just fine. With a variety of builds. The trinity way is so messy - hence why pick ups take 4 hours to do Foundry, in which time a good group could have done all of DoA including Mallyx.

This didn't even take into account most PvE skills. It should be read more until people realize that passive defense is ridiculous, dedicated tanks are bad, and Paragons are imba.
Permanent +100 armor on all characters on the party makes going through areas pretty fast.

Lightbringer is bugged at the moment, doesn't give you any benefit wearing the title in DoA. Gotta wait for a fix.

Its still do-able even with out the lightbringer bonus.

Hehe it like HoH PvE Hero Build owns the big deal bosses. This is something i really will look forward in doing just for fun i love to beat DoA for once almost did on my Necro missing City and Titans one.

Hard for me as well, being in Japan, hard to find a person to do this with. Like I stated earlier, citadel has been ready for about 3 or 4 months now, just never finished it again. Gonna try this one out tonight hopefully, and again, many thx for finding this one out.

Well i just assumed they did it on purpose (the stacking with ursan), didn test it any further then that. The same time LB rank stopped working on Ursan in DoA, 'i am the strongest' stopped stacking with it also (anywhere). Pretty sure they just strait nerfed it. Helped a friend with abaddon today and the LB dmg stacked on ursan for that.

The Lightbringer's Gaze (not sure about the title's bonus) were previously working on the stone summit in Slaver's Exile. One can only assume that they patched it in Slaver's, and forgot to turn it back on against the enemies it should trigger against.

Gaze still works on normal margonites though. Haven't tried it on DoA guys or normal Titans and demons

We tried it yesterday, my guildie took the screens (I'm Lucretia of Mercy in them).
Took us 15 minutes to kill Mallyx and 16 to kill everyone.
3 heroes. 2 N/Rt's and one Rit.

Yup, ursan did the trick in both foundry and against the Mallyx himself, nevertheless i think whoever designed those missions wasnt exactly sane...

When you play Ursan you start understanding what Mallyx himself is - he is just another kind of "Ursan tank" - even more overpowered
He doesn't care about conditions, hexes, interrupts, heavy damage, enchantments on his foes, he doesn't care how fast monks heal his targets, he just spams his stupidly overpowered skills
Anet created dumb but overpowered, 'unfair' opponents, then Anet gave us the ability to turn into the same dumb and overpowered c-spacers

Im actually trying to do the DoA with One human & 6 heroes and i've just seen this thread.
If someone has done all the zone in DoA with 6 heroes, i would like to see his Heroes build. (Iam Monk and the another human is Necro)

Ursan tank is very nice. Me (ele), friends on a mesmer, monk and necro with another real monk and 2 rit heros and 1 paragon hero. We beat mallyx in 17 and cleared everything in 19 that is with a 2 min break to stop laughing before mallyx because it was too easy.
Will post pic on another computer.
Side note we decided to try City after that for kicks and giggles, we cleared the City in 35 minutes. Lots of big groups that you have to pull seperate.

for those who have successfully killed mallyx with ursanway, what exactly is the strategy after you beat the waves and actually go inside the citadel for mallyx? do you go straight for him or take down his spirits first? i guess my question is, do you fight through the environment effects or get rid of them by gaze of fury/interrupt mallyx's unyielding anguish skill ? ty in advance!

We went there with 4xUrsan - at 1st, me and another friend went for the spirits, while other 2 friends went straight for Mallyx but as they were getting his HP down faster than other 2 of us did to one of the spirits, we all just focused on him - wasn't a long battle at all, still it's good to have a res scroll handy.
