I think it is very ugly, and the handle looks like that of a Hand Axe. It just has no detail, the only thing going for it is that it's semi translucent and matches with an Eternal Shield. Each to their own.

Of course I've seen the sword before, it's just easier to see all the details when a player is holding it.

A very good plot from anet if I may say so... With another 1.5 years to GW2, they've got to maintain people's interest in the game. Releasing new ultra rare items seems very logical way to get people hooked.

These items will be mass farmed to no end soon...

If it only drops from the final UW chest, forget your "MASS FARMING".

Even if you are super fast, doing all the UW quests takes 2 hours. Fastest I have heard people claim was 80 minutes.

For a chance to get an eternal blade. Go figure.

Unienaule, UW and FoW have been around longer than you've probably been playing Guild Wars. I wouldn't put it past the average player to know how to do the areas (they've had long enough, and we'll ignore new players), join a group with someone who knows how to do the area, or know enough to use the IG search function to look up guides on wiki.

Besides, once a build is being widely used, as Ursan Blessing has, the average player usually picks up on it. Being harassed by PUGs usually does wonders to get most people using certain skills.

Now, you do have a valid argument that most groups probably can't FINISH UW, but you can't really blame it on them not KNOWING how it's supposed to be done, not that I fully blieve casual players are going to spend 2-3 hours clearing UW anyway.
