Your inventory can get full quite easily while holding (especially if you don't keep bags PvP characters), and there is no sigil trader or merchant in Halls.

Hell if anything this is actually good for the game since sigil is the only thing that can not be farmed with bots. All these people not signing this is probably running a business selling ectos for real life cash and would hate to see sigils being another currency sink which would devalue their business

sigil hoarders>ecto hoarders. This leads to less bots GG. And this can actually lead more players to PvP as their endgame due sigil price inflation(powerful currency/money/epeen is a huge motivation for playing).
What the hell are you talking about? Gold is pretty much a PvE concept, there isn't a need for it in PvP, so why would you want the substitute currency to be acquired solely by PvP players rather than PvE players? It makes no sense.
Ectos will always have an inherent worth as they are required to craft Obsidian Armor and have a fairly low drop rate, making sigils cost more isn't going to stop bots farming because it isn't going to obliterate the ecto market.

Furthermore people should be playing PvP because they like playing PvP not as a means to an end.

What the hell are you talking about? Gold is pretty much useful everywhere.
Furthermore people should be able to play with whatever motivation they have

It's literally impossible to have 350 unstacked leather when we only have 45 inventory slots in our bags. You NEED to stack those.
To try out dye combinations before buying it, you need at least 3 of each, and having them unstacked would be greatly unpractical.
Trophies? You need to gather at least 5 most of the time, and in some cases 250 of them. How can you keep 250 if you don't stack them?
Consumables, summoning stones, scrolls, Sweets, Party items, booze?? If you plan on using them, you are probably either getting a title or keeping them for their usefulness, and since you'll probably carry more than one of each, it would be insane to have them unstacked.

But you can't have more than one Guild Hall, and you are not supposed to change halls often. So, once you get your hall, you sell the rest to the trader, so those that can't or won't play HA can get one too.

So what can be the reason to made them stackable other than hoarding and speculation?
Winning Streaks in HA so you need to store them before selling them? No, there's a Sigil trader in the HA outpost.
Keeping them all to change you guild hall every so often? Keeping the trader supplied is way more important.

I can't think of any other reason. Can you?
We change our guildhall like 2times/week, so make sigils stackable.
