Well, after playing RA for a few hours today, I saw
A W/Mo with WoH.
A W/N with Life Trasnfer.
A P/Mo with WoH.
A warrior with endure pain and no elite who started the match by saying "you are going to die noobs."
About 30 people with no secondary professions.

Healing Paragons are not that uncommon in RA.

10-10-8 in Healing, Leadership, and Motivation, and you've got energy management, healing, and party buffs. It's a very good build opourtunity. Don't be so fast to dismiss it.

At least have a secondary, it makes others guess you're a certain build at the very least. (ie: e/d ---> mystic regen)

I just want to say that almost any build works well for Normal Mode PvE as long as you have one competent monk involved.

I couldn't tell you how many PUG sins I've seen with Mending. Try to tell them they don't need it, and they complain that they need it or else they won't be able to wield their Shiro's Blades. ><

But back in the day, I remember I did one of the Ring of Fire missions with a build that looked somewhat like this:

Just played Vizunah Square with a D/R who, for all me and my party members saw, only had three skills:

[skill]Disrupting Accuracy[/skill][skill]Read The Wind[/skill][skill]Pin Down[/skill]

And every fight started with DA->RTW->Pin Down, then nothing else as the skills recharged.

Go figure. At least they had a hero MM with them (also their Goren had a ele focus, despite being a W/A)

Wouldn't surprise me if that was an E/W

It gets worse when you go to this place called Alliance Battles though. Warrior's not only take fire storm, but meteor shower, flare, inferno, meteor and a ton of other fire skills.

I saw a dervish with mending on his bar yesterday.

It takes a lot for me to conclude the a player is totally hopeless...but that pretty much did it.

Actually saw this. Never found out what his attributes were, but he couldn't figure out why his enchantments were being removed. Claimed it was because of the monsters using enchantment removal skills, but we were fighting Warriors, Paragons, and Monks (bugs outside Yohlon) when he said that.

Saw a necro once in AB with no necro skills. All ranger. Recommended he changed his build, and so he got rid of the ranger skills. Still wasn't great, but meh. Will see if can find it later

today i seen a sin with this in gate of pain for HM:

i asked him why he has mending in his build and told him to use crit agility instead and he replied with "crit agility sucks,and im using mending for the enchantment"

lol i got a good laugh the other day
it was a ranger with a mediocre build but his heros(ele,monk and necro)
all had /r secondarys and 4/8 of his skills it was a good laugh
i think it was powershot,barrage,troll ugent, and point blank shot

For some very odd reason I wanted to do abadon's mouth with a PUG a few days ago. This ranger pinged his build. I got no idea why, but half of guildwars seem to believe mending is what keeps people alive

Someone else in that same PUG kept saying throughout the entire mission that we would never make it because I brought 3 heros (he kept calling them hench). And hench are BAEDDDD according to him.

Man was he amazed when we steamrolled that mission

I've seen some very sad builds out there. I've seen plenty of A/Es with they're attribute points spent on all possible attributes. I don't remember their exact skills, but I do remember this: they didn't use skills with all of their attributes, obviously, and I decided, as did the rest of the group, to let them go with those builds. I have also seen "heal" monks going with minion spells and all the weird stuff one can expect.

I didnt save it or take a pic but i really had a guy in TEAM Arena , I asked for a spirit spammer , so he joined me . I assumed ( my fault ) he would actually have spirits , He had 8 Rez skills as a rt/ monk .... thats right 8 including rez sig , ressurect , flesh of my flesh . vengeance , you get the idea ...

Gotta agree what is it with Mending, why do people use it?

Can`t think of any proffesion that could use it in any situation. Maybe it needs buffing, lol, now that would be really funny. Can`t see it happening but...rofl I never expected HB to get buffed so Oo.

Ok stopped laughing now. Firstly I refuse to show some of my pre-searing builds that I have run as far as the fire islands, rest assured I H/H because it wouldn`t be fair to other players. Secondly let`s face it some players know no better and will find out from experience and no doubt some will look back with embarressment just like the rest of us.

Mending rules, I remember in the early day of GW a warrior who posted a screen of THK done only with henchies, and him keeping mending on all henchies.
The title of the screen was "Mending is overpowered", maybe some old player remembers this.
