My first character was named AMD ZEN. He was an E/Me because of Conjure Phantasm.
I remember taking a short break from the game near the beginning, only to comeback and when I joined a Sorrow's group, they didn't have a BiP. They told me to bring my own energy management. I brought Mantra of Recall as my elite... lolz.... with no fire attunement btw....

E/Me, made him as big as possible too, i thought the height scaling was some kind of zoom, which i used to see what he looked like haha, that was fun. And coming straight from diablo 2 i figured a magician would be the best class to pown everything with hehe, didn't realize guild wars was such a balanced game hehehe. soon after made a ranger/monk and found the pets to be really awesome! me and my brother made most of our characters /r after that just to have a pet XD

I was a Me/N because I wanted to be this awesome hexpressure machine. I was a one-man Soul Barbs spike on those lowlevel bosses.

First E for some damage, then /Me for some more damage and utility. I actually tried all the secondaries with my first character and popped through the searing at lv9, then soloed everything up to Yak's Bend before giving up and hiring some henchmen to help out (yes, soloing, as in going alone as an E/Me, I used some contrived builds and tactics back then

This was from like lvl 9-14 and thankfully at lvl 14 I decided that maybe I should change my skills becuase the whole ele thing wasn't working out, so I went with all necro skills.
Not sure how i made any minions with 3 other skills that exploited corpses lol but I always was and still am a minion master ^^ consume corpse was just for fun cuz hell who doesn't want to teleport, but when I got serious I switched it out for rotting flesh. lol such a huge differance >_>
I also came from diablo 2 (with The Bard) where I was a necro mm (lagmancer!) and I just remember being overjoied that in GW I could create a female necromancer cuz I was really sick of playing as a man lol (haven't made a male character on GW ever, cept a cute ranger one time but never played as him)

My W/Mo build was so superior back then. It was a sad day when Anet finally starting giving us experience again in the PVP arena's. I was a goddess of supreme power. Ahhh those were the days I loved the most about this game. But, of course they have nerfed everything out of existance now and it's not as fun as it used to be.

My very first character was an ele (still alive and kicking!), I had played as healer and warrior types in other mmorpg's and thought that this time, I want to blow the behjesus out of everything! Then became E/Me when a friend of mine told me about how underrated Mesmer's powers are and that later on I would want this skill called "Arcane Echo"

E/N. Such fond memories of exploring for the first time. As a level 9 E/N I went exploring out of Yak's Bend for the first time with hench. I ended up at the Ascalon Settlement in North Kryta Province without finding any outposts along the way :| I parked myself there for the night without logging off hoping to find one the next day. After getting squashed by ettins a number of times I eventually gave up and mapped back to Yak's.

Mine was a W/N. I liked the idea of being able to make minos with my warriors. Of course I realized that i didn't have enough energy to have a chance to cast anything.

I ran R/Me with point blank shot, dual shot, kindle arrows, and the rest mesmer skills, up to Piken Square. Then I realized that I was spending all my time casting the mesmer skills. So I deleted that character and made my primary mesmer.

Pretty sure it was N/Mo who was deleted after a few days without ever reaching post-searing. Not sure because I played a number of characters my first couple months and ended up deleting them all. Oldest character I've kept was N/E (blood & fire seemed like t3h w1n at the time).

R/N was my first character and I picked /n by accident just didn't care to change it.
W/E was second and he was sword and fire. Always had firestorm on the bar which was actually very effective at the time because enemies didn't run out of AoE damage.

I made a w/n and tried all sorts of weird ways to keep myself alive. Life Siphon... blood well... insidious parasite... Mostly kept finding myself in the Shiverpeak arenas, where I was finding none of these solutions all that helpful.
Also, people started to get runs to drok's and more and more people had max armor. Playing a lvl10ish warrior against those people really sucks.
And my first pvp character build I ever made was some sort of W/E conjure warrior with water trident and FLURRY. I then "graduated" to vigorous spirit + live vicariously wamo... Needless to say, I took a step backwards there xD.
Also, people started to get runs to drok's and more and more people had max armor. Playing a lvl10ish warrior against those people really sucks.

W/Mo, still in use today. It was the "obvious" choice. I get to hack, slash, and destroy as a warrior (those are some of my favorite things to do!) AND(!!!!) I get to heal myself and my allies. The greatest combo ever...

N/W... What can i say? Well at least when i changed to Warrior i was pretty good, and pleasantly surprised to see i wasn't dying as much.
