Made close to 8-9 friends and heheh Like 13 enemies of a sort not the most but still numbers got 45k on me at the moment 23 greens 6 Rares Hmm 2 minipets and well thats pretty much it oh couple of diamonds hehe

I hardly make any money, but I always seem to have 100k+ in my storage and I have plenty of 15k sets. I just get lucky. I've got like 5 items that are worth 50k+ from chests during missions.

I think I suck at making money or rather I'm just slow at making it. It took me 5 months to get my Fow armor. >.>

oh and to to add a little to my stack about 6 months ago i deleted a char by accident with 80k in gold and probly 500k in weapons when i was tired.

I've probably spent almost 3 million on various sets of 15k, Vabbian, rare weapons and dyes. In the last week I've managed to accumulate 160k through farming, but that was promptly spent on my dervish and I only have 30k left. Now I don't bother hoarding gold, I just spend it.

I'm sure I'd be among the GW millionaires if I weren't such a reckless spender. Then again, I'd much rather have the things I have, then hoarding a bunch of plat and ecto. Besides, it's not about what you have anyway, it's about getting it, and looking good while you're getting it, even if looking good means 1k armor and collector weapons.

Like odly said, I have a good guild full of nice people (besides one person >.>) who do stuff together and overall have fun. It doesn't matter how many ectos you have or how much time you waste farming in UW or FoW, but rather how many friends you can make, how you can be nice to people. In that case, I'm doing just fine.

after 2 and half years playing, think i'm the middle class, since i only trade weapons instead of rare minis (man, u can really make good money on them)
24 stacks ecto, 2 stack shards, 100 black dye, some other dyes (i collect what dropped for me), 3 stack lockpick, 10 mil weapons on all char, some 15k armor (don't like fow), just got 4 storage account hacked, lost 5.8 mil cash from them.
use to trade and farm a lot, but got lazy after duped armb came out, no1 can ever compare to those hackers.

I'm playing from the very beginning. Never was rich. Did some ecto farming in the first summer with the first 55 build, until Protective Bond got nerfed (which was very fast). Ocassionally farmed Griffons until they were more or less removed from the game, with the exception of some small and hard to reach groups. Did not bother farming much more.
I hardly had good stuff until EotN and the BMP. Than I started selling consumables once or twice a week from the loot I found, and I am spending the gold to get perfect upgrades for my hero BMP items. This way I now have upgraded most of the heroes of my main chr. and some of the heroes of 2 other chr's.
About 400k cash. No High-end (UW or other) items. Armor from common traders and weapons from BMP, with perfect upgrades.

theres barley anyway to make money in this game the only actual way to make money is kill monsters and get drops.
so the economy is really screwed cause only high lvls can have alot of money since low lvls cant farm good loot.

Anyone else confused by that? You must be really new....as in not lvl 20 yet...
If that's the case, then duh, of course you don't make a lot of money as a lvl 9 character, but that will change.

Most Money I Ever Had At Once: 200k
Current Liquid Assets: 0, I just bought a Destroyer Staff for my Rit and a bunch of lockpicks (chasing new weapons...) by liquidating the 20 ectos I had...so yeah.
Good Weapons/Armors: I have 2 Destroyer weapons (Sword and Staff), a total of 4 15k armors across my Warrior, Rit, and Derv (Monument, Dragon for W, Monument for Rit, Ancient for Derv). Usually use non-perfect gold weapons (+29hp, req 10, etc.) because I don't see the point of having req 7 weapons, but I do have cool skins (Greater Highlander, Zodiac).
How I Play: I generally PvE only, so from those spoils is where I get most of my money. Dipped into some farming builds, the most successful/profitable being the CoF run I do on my Rit. I generally like spending money, so it doesn't stay very long in my storage. I'd estimate that I have not had more than 1 million gold touch my hands....

33 months playing: 22k in gold, 5 sets of 15k, just salvaged my first and only FoW armor off of my nec (got it maybe 2 years ago). I used to farm a lot with guildies (dual UW, 5 man SF runs, all that) before factions, when it was fun to spend hours farming. Now I bore after only 2 or 3 runs. I have never once joined any DoA farming groups, the only UW/FoW groups I've done were with guildies. I refuse to pug or grind because it sucks the fun out of the game for me.
It's a game, the only thing that keeps me playing is my guild, the only people I have fun playing it with. When I'm done playing Guild Wars (for good), I don't want to look back on wasted time (for me, amassing a fortune of virtual gold that has no value is wasted time).

I made most of my money exploiting impatient people. Selling ambers for 10k each when factions first came out. Selling peppermint kandy canes for 1k each I had literally thousands of them. Watching the market and getting ectoes for 100gp each when Anet reset the game way back when. <grin> Selling skree wings for 1k each when they were popular. Gawd I love impatient players.
