Insane lag at Event

Currently in La dist13 euro. Lagg of average 20.000ms. I don't think the servers were made for people + pets + lot's of present drops

I just lagged out... bleh.

LOL my ping is 69,000 average at the moment. I think the servers just had a heart attack.

Yeah, 007'd here as well just now after similar pings. Bit of a bummer, cause I wasn't even able to pick up any of my presents.

Servers just went I think..? Me and a few friends got disconnected, can't load in on any of our characters, stays at 0% then network errors (err = 007).

45,000 and just error 7 out after just 7 drops
Now cant log back in- Cant believe the message has the cheek to say 'Please check your internet connection .... '

Really.. please check the servers instead!

My guildies reporting the same thing (50k-ish numbers) - fine here though (200 or below).


Ahh - I left the district after getting 2 drops.
I just stayed for the hat.

Btw - for those that seem affected - did anyone try to step away from the crowd?

Just had a 70k lag spike..ick.

I'm in LA Europe D5 and I have over 18k of ping, I was waiting in the District for 40 misn before the event, and now I can't even pick up the presents, it only began when the presents started dropping. And now it's up to 54k Ping and now 115k. This is beyond funny.

This is anoying, its like watching a picture slide show thats stuck.....
I cant pick up any of my gifts, the lag is way to much -_-

what is happening??
Anet has been able to cope with server lag better than this in the past?

I noticed there arent as many districts as usual, so im guessing district limit has been upped!! -_-

I hope they fix this by the next event :-(

.and now i just got kicked out, so all my presents have been lost :-( great!!

I cannot get back in - really crappy service. We had similar problems with Shing Jea. When will they ever learn.
