Insane lag at Event

This is awesome. First there were HUGE lag spikes that lasted about 30 seconds, then it completely froze up for several minutes and I logged out.

I guess the servers crashed. Picture the amount of steam bellowing from ANet's servers right now. Our Wintersday gifts are probably choking up and flying out of the air vents.

Mail me mine okay ANet?

wtf, i can get bacl online, but the 2 presents i managed to pick up and the hat is gone!!!!

Seems they did a small rollback, Grenths hat and all presents are gone . /doh

I can login again, but the presents are no longer there and my hat is gone.

Looks like a server rollback, my shards are back to 140...lost my hat too.

Same here. No hat, no gifts.

Oh my god, this is crazy. I'm not even in the 9 rings square, I'm at ~70 ping, and I can NOT move.

Just logged in again Hat gone so are the 4 presents I had
Was in LA euro dis 7

Only 40k ping I hit 143k ping before I logged out

And now at 28 mins past the hour the event hasnt started in kamadan yet

me too lost the hat and candy canes I won, just like a little rollback <back to a state where I had no hat and 39 CC>

What the hell! I just wasted 35 mins of my life for a hat and now its gone! Super Epic Fail no actually i need this picture:

Wow.....nice.....we do the event, then they wipe it from our characters like the Men In Blacks red flashing pen thingy........

Talk about a lag! I lagged out, and, like tons of people, Cant go ANYWHERE! Code 7! Talk about a server crash! I only got like 2, maybe 3 presents..!

EDIT: And now, everyone's lost their hats...

I had to take a screenshot, look at this for a ping time. And now when we log back in, our gifts are gone from the ground, the gifts we had picked up or won during the finale AND the hat are all gone.

Just got back in but have lost my hat that was in inventy

it seems like the euro servers are the ones with the problem, my friend logged on to her account and her character was in the international servers and she was fine, and another friend of mine went on his account and his character was in the american districts and he was fine also. however when i try to log on to my account with my characters in the euro servers i just get error 007 before i get into a town T.T

edit: my girlfriend and i just got back on and we lost our hats too

Damn you beat my ping....

what a bummer i missed the first event by minutes (waited for almost an hour) and now this, still no hats.

Did anyone get their hats this second time?
