I think they can drop stuff outside town though. So the botter 'master' account (which would be an ordinary fully-functioning account) would party with the bot (on the trial account) leave town then the bot would drop 100k and the bot master picks it up.

You couldnt block 1 trial per IP address as people behind router's etc would have issues. But indeed there does need to be some house cleaning it appears

I followed them from creation to deletion and tried to do exactly what they do, and possibly do that even better. I found that the average one lives 17 minutes, and make less than 1,300 gold (I haven't put down the exact number, I think it was about 815g + 4 monastery credits)

They are all Elementalists choosing secondary Warrior, simply because it's fastest (shortest ways) and the quests are one of easiest to automate (use 1-2 skills or just stay there and henchies kill). The last thing they do is Choose Your Secondary Profession quest and putting gold and monastery credits into storage. Yes, they lose 50g per character to open Xunlai storage account, they don't trade them to another bot account, just put into storage. Then immediately create another character and repeat. None of them do A Formal Introduction despite this quest being very very simple and rewarding 150g.

So they make near 1,300g in 17 minutes, at this rate it's near 4,500g per hour. Sounds really pathetic (It's still possible to farm 10-15k per hour consistently), but done nonstop 24 hours is over 110k hard cash a day, not depending on selling anything to people and fully automated.

They should be very easy to spot for the ban, all of them.
yeah i dont think any of them actually make it to minister cho's estate. after 20min of sitting there i never saw a single one show up to continue on in game. so i guess the team that deals with the bots will have their work cut out seeing the bot probably doesnt live very long til its deleated and recreated,

I don't get why ArenaNet never add things like limiting the creation of new character to one per ten minutes, or making impossible to auto-target the NPC next to the door.

The bots just exploit things easily to fix. Please make me a developer, I will add a rock in the middle of the way for block the bots and problem fixed, if botters reprogram bots, I change the rock and laugh all day!

Yeah simple solution you can't Delete/Make a new char within say 30min.
But then they would have to change the "name holding" time as I think thats 30 min?
before the name is up for grabs for anyone and if you legitimately deleted it and remade it
for some reason you could still keep the name.

I didn't want to hang around there too long just in case I got caught up in this accidentally
and just to make sure I "was chatting in local chat" to others talking about this
but I have sent a few reports in.

Just reported my limit too, i suppose only time will tell whether doing this daily will be effective, but Gaile's words are assuring.

They're farming Mantids, they drop Sanqua Blades, Amber, Mammoth Axes. Can be valuable.

They're all lvl 2s and 3s they can't farm in HM yet, so the most probable suggestion is that they do newb quests to get easy money and monastery quests in a quick amount of time. I have a question though if each character is deleted can a bot create a new one with different characteristics than the old one or do they all use the same character design each time?

Oh, I thought they were lv 20, my bad. Yea my guess is farming the main quests. Because they do have a fast payout. *Nerf time?*

If i remember correctly, this occured with the first few quests in NF. They changed the gold reward system for that, i suppose they could do the same here, but would be harder, due to the large number of small quests.

Jesus, they're in hordes. Some of the people there bugged them by opening trade and submitting offers, there were like 5 at a time using ludo it's disgusting.

Been watching this for hours now.

1. Create.
2. Run 6 steps to the left
3. Target nearest Ally
4. Target Nearest Item (Tablet of Wisdom Attributes)
5. Cancel the action
6. Press P (Search)
7. Add henches
8. Autorun (Pressing forward twice)
9. Target second Party member and run towards it
10. After X seconds they target nearest item (Sunqua Vale)
11. Target nearest Ally (Ludo)
12. Take Quest
13. Target nearest Item (Sunqua Vale)
14. After X seconds, cancel it and autorun (Pressing Forward Twice)

Thank you, I feel very useful and I am making something out of my life. I ate a donut as diner.

Spoiling their run and laugh can be done by trading them. Sometimes.

Yeah they do tend to freeze sometimes if you trade them, but soon after will zone out. I added a lvl 2 ele to my party earlier who was running like a bot. Turned out to be a human
