Hey all,
I've been working on this project for almost a month now and it is almost ready for testing.
This is best described with pictures so here they are:
First image just shows where it will show in Xfire to your friends, and the last 3 are just more examples of how it looks.
All the skills have the titles displayed when you hover them, and you can click on them to be taken to a wiki page.
I still may be missing some locations and skills, or the titles may be wrong, so once beta testing begins, I would appreciate help in tracking these errors down.
The project is split into 2 parts:
1) The infoview - This parses the data from Xfire and displays it as a nice and neat view like you see above. This will be officially supported by Xfire, so you do not need to worry about having the program to see the data.
2) The program - This is what retrieves the info from Guild Wars and sends it through Xfire to your friends. You need this to show the data to your friends.
I still would like to hear suggestions for things you'd like to see (please nothing overly complicated, such as armor sets, unless you feel like taking pictures of every single one and combination).
I am also planning on having the information also be written to a signature image so you can have a dynamic signature. I haven't gotten around to starting this part yet, but it is in the plans.

I can't really give an ETA on how long till this is released, but I am working on it almost every day fixing things up.

We're working on adding whatever stats we can. As for the stats that will be displayed in the final version, i doubt faction will be on by default (perhaps a collapsible section). We still need lots of help figuring out title names and such, and other stats are already found but not yet implemented.
We'll do most of that when the beta comes. I have a rough idea of players that we need info from the most:
Players on Asian Regions
Players with lots of titles (level doesn't matter, as long as you can "wear" it)
Players with rare titles
Of course, regular beta testers are also needed

Anet doesn't care if something breaks the "ALMIGHTY EULA" (which you all seem to make out to be the new Holy Bible or something) if it would benefit the community, and gives no in-game advantage.

I think another project that was similiar to this got shut down cause it read info to & from the GW servers.

yeah, because hacking into the game to access a hidden outpost that lets you skip 3/4ths of a quest chain is exactly the same as displaying STATISTICS IN AN XFIRE CHAT CLIENT?

Its not the statistics that really concern me (I know who gives a F what I think) its seeing others skill bars. In pvp do you want the opposing team to see you skill bar before you go into battle?
If you can pull other people skill bars/stats etc. what else can you take from the packets goin back & forth?
Anyways, I wouldnt touch this with a 10 foot pole.

a) why is an opponent in a PvP match in your XFire friends chat?
b) how the hell are you looking at his stats and focusing on the match at the same time?

There will be an option to turn off displaying of certain information. Unless you guys think it would be best to just disable the skill bar when it is showing a PvP only character.
^^^As to above, technically it does break the EULA, because it modifies GW but so do other mods, and we've seen by example that Anet is ok with them.
The program does not, in any way, shape, or form, write or change any values to assist the user to gain any sort of advantage. Yes, I know it is possible to do, and is why I am specifically NOT doing it.
And in addition, the data does not get sent off to my program to be sent to Xfire, I utilize the Xfire SDK directly from the game, so technically it is Xfire that would have to be banned from the game, which won't happen.

A. I was using PVP in general.
Say your Guild has a 1v1 tournamnet for your Guild only. You would have your guildmates on your xfire right? Thats when you would have someone that youare pvping on your friends list.
B. This could be done with Dual monitorsm but as I said above, Im not concerned with stats.

Ah cool, I wasnt tryin to dog your mod, I was just concerned of what other info could be used.

A quick update:
I've been able to add Currently Displayed Title to it as you can see here
With the additional help of Rushin Roulette and RbX (from the topic), I've been able to name 66 titles, to match the ingame names. If I am unable to find someone for the remaining titles, I will post which ones I need here.

Another quick update, the latest GW update (today), broke 2 components of the program. I fixed one (was my stupidity that it broke), but the second one, is Title. I can't seem to fix title, and the process I get it through, is no longer available (for some reason), so there will be no Title for now.

You can grab all title info from the Player_Struct I was telling you about earlier. It's how I grabbed Title info for G-Stats a long time ago.

Do you have another site you pass info on, or do you just keep this thread updated?
And why is there no mention of this on the GW Xfire boards? I would have thought that the first place you to go with this. Would you mind if I updated them?

No mention of this on the GW Xfire boards, because they are all noobs there. I don't venture to any forums past Xfire Clans & Guilds section because the stupidity levels rise to dangerous.
On another word, no release date yet, as I am still working on the GUI. Also trying to hammer out some other problem, which I probably could have avoided if I did it the exact proper way the first time.
In way of titles, I only need 2 more, Legendary Defender of Ascalon and any rank of Champion. Please add me (with custom add message), if you have either of these, so I can add them to the collection.
