What do you do with most of your gold?

pudding forever!!!!!
but I keep a healthy sum of about 50k for emergencies and that's about it (example of an emergency? I suddenly decide to go crazy and run around nakid in Ascalon and instead of taking off my max, buffed armor I delete it out of tiredness. True story xD)

Save up to about 200-300k. Then blow it on weps and armor and junk.
I've kissed off about 250k in the last 2 months or so on golds, greens, and on Asuran and Dwarven Armors.

none of the above.
I save money for things like skills (& cap sigs)
I save money for GOOD armor (not that uggggghly fow junk).
Or I keep it until I need something else (like more skill caps, more skills--when eye came online 20 new skills for each character I have).
and then if I am done I will finish furnishing my material storage.

What I do with my gold is not in your choices. I save my gold until I want a mod/upgrade for a weapon/shield/or offhand I've discovered. I don't just spend my gold as soon as I get it as one of your answers provided. I've never wasted money on vanity armor thus I do not own one single piece of 15k armor though I have enough money to buy all the sets I would care to have. Vanity is a waste of money in this game for it adds no value to combat, but, having weapons of all various kinds and 4 weapon slots makes for many different ways to improve yourself during battle. The way armor looks doesn't improve anything. Shields are now included in this power as well since I can equip four different types of shields with various +10 protection mods in them like +10 vs physical or +10 vs fire, same with offhands as I like to build up my armor for casters with +5 or +7 mods. So, there needs to be a checkbox for "Spend my money wisely upgrading my equipment"

Well i save it i have a fair amount of gold in my bank not doing anything with it.
for 17 months i have it filled and the money i find now i spent on ecto to make stacks ohh yea and i'm giving a good friend 75 ecto last time that he could buy chaos gloves.
And i mainly help newb friend with it i buy them armor and weapons so that they can start the game with a nice piece of gear.
For the rest my money is rusting in my storage.

Ehh I suppose I keep it mostly..
I always try to have as much in storage as possible. From time to time I have a spending period, where I lose 50k-300k in a couple of days, other than that I hord it :P
Currently 450k & 570e's in storage..
But hey .. I'm dutch, I'm living up to the greedy expectations international society has set for me xD

The "only spend money on things you really need" method only works if you don't have horrible luck to begin with.
Richest I've ever been on one character is 80k.
To make sure I don't kill my finances, I keep 50k in storage.
Most of my characters never see more than 20k at one time...

I saved up a fair bit of gold for when eotn came out b/c I assumed there'd be something expensive worth buying. But then it turned out all the armor was cheap, and the expensive stuff (blindfolds, chaos gloves, destroyer weapons) was ugly. So I've been slowly buying armor for my chars that I like, suits I kinda liked but didn't want to spend money on before.
I don't really farm any more, and anything I sell I generally just let go for way below list price just to be rid of it.
After all, what's the point in having money in a game that's basically over? When we know for a fact there'll never be anything else to buy?

1. Get all 1319 skills with my main character. I'm quite colse to that. Only 50 assassin skills, 5 warrior, 40 dervish and 40 paragon left.
2. Open chests.
3. Buy miniatures I don't have.
4. Open more chests.

I would love to save it, but I just... can't! I always end up buying some new armor/weapons. If tou want to take your PvE's to PvP, you need to waste alot of money with them x).

Since Gwen, Pimping out the hall of monuments with elite armour - just a Gwen set and Obsidian to go. After that cash will go on mini's, hero armour and destroyer weapons to spruce it up.
Then maybe some skill capturing (capture sigs) for some extra titles.

Not surprised to be in the majority group..... yeah I have a reserve which changes in value depending on my self-discipline. Somewhere between 50 and 200k. But anything over that is usually being saved until the second I can afford armour, pretties etc.
KamikazeChicken
I've been at capacity for the better part of a year, so I've been converting extra gold into lockpicks. I did end up buying every "elite" monk armor, but I was back at max pretty fast. :\

Basically I'm at the point were there are few items I really need/want and so I save up my cash and spend it only when something bright and shinny catches my attention
Tha Dukk
I usually save up to a certain amount of gold (150k av) and won't spend any of it until I make enough to replace what I spent. Weird, yes, but my reserve is usually for when I see idiots selling incredibly rare items for incredibly cheap. ^ ^
SharonC
I tend to not save unless there is something expensive I really want like an elite armor. I tend to have multiple sets of armor with different insignias for different areas, and those are usually elite armors. I also collect mini pets (34 and counting), and am going for skill hunter on one character, which tends to eat up a fair amount of gold.
Also, in my guild, we tend to share cash and materials a lot. If someone wants something, we pool resources so they can get it or we buy it for them. (Made one member really happy the day I bought him an elf mini-pet. He really wanted one.)

Invest, invest, invest.
Buy items for cheap and sell at a high profit margin. Farm items and sell at a lesser profit margin.
All this equals more money, therefore, better armor for me... and isn't that what is most important?
