Make Ursan Blessing fair
Angelina Collins
All you people who are screaming NERF Ursans because it's overpowered, are the same people that are destroying this game. Get over it, it's bad enough we have a bunch of crappy devs at Anet who love skill balance, which it is screwing with PvE. Ursans serves a purpose, it has renewed intrest in pug groups again, and who cares if it makes things easier. It lowers prices, which is a good thing, no item in this game should of ever sold for more then 100K, let alone +XX ectos.
All youi complainers should start an ant-ursans guild and play together, if you hate the skill so much. Also your argument carries no weight, ursans is powerful in mass, but solo with the skill and you get killed easy. The only differience is that it is PvE only skill. The same was said about sandstorm, then it got nerfed, and also 55 monk build, then they nerfed the skills in that build, well enough with nerf bullshit, it's been told to me, and I will tell it to you. If you don't like it, just leave already. Hell I don't use ursans, and I mostly use henchies and hero's, but I can still rake in a couple 100K in a weekend, making gold is easy with out ursans, with ursans it's just fun.

i started playing ursan a bit
i dunno rly
it's not soooooo overpowered
all it does is having 6 men slashing like crazy and with chance of fail cuz they don't notice the healer is getting beaten up
it can be good yes i just did DD with not too much trouble

On another note, I really like Ursan for a couple reason. I am a seasoned player and know that I can get by without it, I like to save time, and I don't have to worry about who is running what anymore. Six Ursans, two HB Monks, and you have a party. I still remember the days when Urgoz was still active. We used to have to wait almost two hours sometimes just to get a pug going with the correct builds. It was friggin torture.

Urg, no? lol! Just because you want to farm that you want everything to be the same?
Warrior/Derv/Sin have their atribute, they can deal dmg more than others. It's their advantage.
Para/Sin/Derv/Necro can gain their energy from their primary atribute. It's their advantage.
Monk can heal after turned back to normal. it's their advatage. Since you want to recover your team when you can't kill from ursan.
Ranger/Eles have armor vs ele. It's their advantage. Notice these armor + can be more than a Warrior himself.
Mesmer and Rit are the exceptions. But again, these two classes have their use in different area.
+ Mesmer is pro at PvE? Almost every build should have a mesmer?
+ Rit use their weapon spell more effective than others? It's good for both PvE and PvP as well?

Yet, there ARE sceptions.
We are considering the ursan blessing while active, not etween matches.
Yeah, a monk can heal while not bein an Ursan, but so does can my Ele, if I set the skills (The few times I want on ursan, I chooses Protective Spirit to 'do somethin' while ursan recharges)
The issue must be considered while the Blessin is active. There are profession with NO benefit at all. So itmust be changes to either all the same benefits or no benefits for anyone.

Although casters have less armor, they also have superior energy compared to warriors and paras.

Simple answer....go make a warrior, dont farm DoA, don't use Ursan. And ursan is easy money with any proffesion. Elementalists get more energy to go longer between battles. And as all ready said you can get plenty of armor. The problem ain't ursan it is PUG ignorance.
EDIT: Taurus you made me laugh

Fear Me!
At the end of but 21 seconds, a max rank ursan using only ursan strike will perform 900 armor ignoring damage. No other profession with a normal and full skillbar can even come anywhere near this amount of insane damage which coincidently, is unaffected by blind. Ursan clearly requires a nerf. It needs to be a base al and energy level regardless of profession, and can only be used in norn territory. Please do not remove it from the game, as clearly from the posts, many people rely on this incompetent method as their medium for pve enjoyment. I don't wish to remove their ability to enjoy the game, but I do wish to restore balance to the game, and the force too.

no, ele's have loads more energy then warrior, so warrior have more armor thats fair i think
AshenX
My Warrior/Ele has difficulty nuking (please reduce meteor shower's energy cost)
My Mesmer/Ranger sucks at running a turret ranger build (please change channeling so I get energy from attacking as well as casting)
My Ranger/Monk hasnt been able to heal well enough to keep the party alive (please buff expertise so that it applies to monk spells)
My point is quite simple...you want them to adjust a skill so that your caster is on a par with warriors at melee!!!! You want one skill to make you the equal of a warrior at melee!!!! I am going to say it again..You want one skill to put you on par with a warrior at melee!!!! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!
I have seen nothing in the OP indicating that you want a PVE only skill added to the game that turns anyone who uses it into the best heal/prot/echo nuking/dust trapping/shutdown character possible. Warriors lack what many other professions have in abundance-group role versatility-and now you want more versatile characters to only have to set aside one spot onot heir bar in order to compete with the warriors in melee!!!!! NO NO NO NO NO NO.
BTW I prefer playing rangers and eles myself. My warrior rarely gets any play and the fact that if i bothered to take him to EOTN I could turn him into a farming monster has not really tempted me. I am not opposing your idea because it goes against me (I dont like ursan at all in fact) but rather because it is not a good idea and is very much against the spirit of the game.
I do not mean to offend you. I am sure that you are a nice person. You may very well be a perfect saint. But....NO NO NO NO NO!!!!

Another ursan complaint thread rezed from the dead by a UB basher. HUGE surprise. Find something new to bitch about.

Ursanway was invented so ANet can make as much money as possible out of EotN.
Ursanway/Noobway/Easy Mode was created simply to generate revenue from the lowest possible common denominator.
This is why the smarter, more reasoned posters are against ursan's blessing, and the more ignorant and simplistic, monosyllabic and/or entitled posters are for it.
Unfortunately, money is the bottom line for the final installment of GW1. We can point out it's selling out, but the developers are listening all the way to the bank.
Fairness? Oh right... if they wanted UB to be fair, you wouldn't have to own EotN to get a pug in UW/FoW/DoA/HM vanquishing/missions.

Okay I'm getting tired of the "make armor equal" threads casters have better energy and srsly people ursan will tear through anything it doesn't matter how much armor you have, all that matters is your norn rank.

wow, reminds me of writings done by anti-semetic authers (yup, nazi's) in the early 1930's
'cept you replaced all the Jewish scapegoats with ursans.
they are no different than you lol, so please stop generalizing kk?
I don't think my posts are "Ignorant and simplistic, monosyllabic and/or entitled", but i often monk for ursan parties in the Underworld and Fissure.

hooha we have reached a new low in the "defend Ursan at all costs" argumentation.
and btw, it's spelt "Antisemitic authors". Not that i care about spelling but come on if you're gonna try to pass of as educated at least make an effort?

Alex, please think a bit before you post anything like that again. You're not doing anyone a favor with comments like that.

ok ill add to the horse beating...
heres another fine way to nerf ursan:
the skill is (when its first introduced) used on a pve quest to kill charr. at rank 10...the main skill deals 75 damage twice. why not to change it to "deal 75 damage to target touched foe. If that foe is a charr, this damage is doubled." this way, the pve quest is still the same, easy as it was supposed to be, but were not left over with a skill that makes pve elite areas a joke.

I doubt thats the reason for ursan, cos they could with possibly moderatley additional effort, created PvE skills that could not be effective without being in an effective build, or require cognitive usage for success.

Bye bye ursan thread.
