How many guilds have you been in?

around 15 all pvp based like someone said above seems different for pvp. now im in a pve guild

One when I joined GW - disbanded like 2 days after (was a Quebecer guild), then I made mine... disbanded, made another one a while after with long-time online friends - handed the guild to my right-hand man, they had become a GvG, UK guild while I'm pretty much of a PvE Canadian guild. Didn't work. He disbanded it after.

I joined that guy's new guild for a while before leaving, they were GvG-oriented and I had a hard time with some of their members. Joined another one, then we fell apart because of leader inactivity (I think he logged on every 2 weeks or so... for like 5 minutes).

Then I joined a PvE one, stayed in for around a year - when my best GW friend got kicked, I left.

So we made our own guild, HiDE, on February 22nd, 2007 . Still in this one.

So... 7 total.

100+ easily. Quite sad.

About 12 total iirc. Let's see...
1. Random invite when I first started playing. Left a week or two later because nobody ever said anything.
2. Friend's guild that I stayed in for a few days.
3. Some Pve guild *shrug*. Left to start pvping.
4. 1st pvp guild. Got recruited out of tombs. Remade guild a few months later under a different name.
5. Guild broke down and people stopped playing for various reasons.
6. Shootoff of one of the members of guild #5, internal breakdown led to disband.6. Met the leader in HA iirc, stayed in there for a month or 2 until it broke down due to inactivity.
7. Met in HA after pugging for them and going on a ~50 fame run. Since my current guild was inactive, I joined this one. Was a mixed guild with pvp and pve sections. Pvp split off into own guild. I didn't like where the guild was heading, so I left after being asked to HA and gvg with a friend from guild #4/5.
8. My current guild, stayed in for about a year. Then leader+a few members quit.
9. Shootoff of myself plus a few members of guild #8. Disband due to drama, then back to #8.
10. Joined a guild with a retardedly ragey leader at the request of a friend. Left a few days later. Back to #8.
11. Summer of '07: joined guild at the request of 2 friends from #8. Drama while I was on vacation led to my departure. Back to #8 where those same 2 friends were attempting to revive it pvp-wise with new people. Broke back down after a few weeks.
12. Joined a guild at the request of a friend from #8 with the same leader+most of the members of #10. Then my friend abandoned me for champ pointz. . Anyway, because of said leader, I didn't really feel like gvging half the time so one night I faked offline while they were gvging only to watch the dramaaaa unfold in guild chat. Unfortunately I wasn't on vent at the time. /ragedisband. Back to #8 where I realized I Pvp just isn't as enjoyable without the people in #8. Been there ever since.

Same here. Created it about 2 years ago and the Guild-Tag fits perfectly on my main Char: Take Me [Home] ^^

Well, I started with and Australian Guild. But after I was there about a month the leader left and put his second of command in and she kicked me because we didn't get along - of course that was AFTER I had funded nearly half the cost of the GH we'd bought.

Then I set up my own guild only to get away from the "will you join my guild" whispers I kept getting - had no intention of actually making it a proper guild.

About 2 months later I joined a European guild, stayed with them for nearly 2 years and when things started to get tense I left to join Angelsharks.

So 4 all up, but only really 3 because my "dummy-guild" doesn't really count.

Probably about 25. Mostly pvp, and 6-7 pve. Found one I really like, and I plan to stay for a long time

40+... I get kicked out all the time thanks to trigger-happy officers who think I need to be taught a lesson in keeping my mouth shut... sadly, I give advice no one likes.

no.1, joined when i was newbe, very nice ppl, tought me a lot about the game, i left after some of them stop playing (leader and main officers)
no.2- death diamond, invited to join by a rl friend, very organized alliance, good pvper, only alliance i've ever gvg with. splitted after leader gotten lazy
no.3-ReF, invited by friends from no.2 guild, left because wasn't doing anything with them
no.4-DoA, friend's new guild, join to suport, met a lot of good farmers there, dead after friend quit gw
no.5-US, invited by friends from DoA, learned tanking in doa, left because doa became boring
no.6-Sock, random guild joined for fun
no.7-OSOK, interested in their 2000hp monk foundry tank build
no.8-Farm, friend's guild that allianced with OSOK, got pissed by a guild rage quiter
no.9-DDT, allianced with OSOK, still in it


and joined few random guild in between

Had a guild i made for 6 months, but grew bored, since then ive being going from guild to guild, mainly because after about a week or so, i grow to hate pretty much everyone there. Going to move onto another one soon i guess, but overall being in around 15-20 id say.

First account has always been in SMS.
Second account has mostly been empty. It sat on SoF: Victrix for a few months in case they needed someone for the Celestial Tournament last year. Now I just use it to observe without getting annoying by chat.

Too many too remember.


But the last three Guild I have been in have all been the same people, disbanded, seperated, accidently running into each other and forming back up, so I'l count them all as one guild.

First one was totally inactive. Even if there was someone online they never said anything in chat.

Second one imploded when leader accidently promoted an inactive player to leader instead of booting him

Third one is result of mass exodus from second guild

1st was a random guild advertising in Pre-Sear ascalon, was kicked for being offline for more than 3 days (was away for a week in London) almost immediately after joining.

2nd was my mine and my brothers guild

3rd was my current guild, though we have rerolled since then to change the name, so I suppose you could say 4 in total

First one was in April 2005, on the first or second day I started playing GW. They were spamming in Ascalon. It died soon after due to inactivity and bad leadership.

Second one I joined in October 2005 and I've been there ever since.


I doubt guild hoppers feel sad about guild hopping.
