Yes, some people are trying to sell for 100K, but nobody in their right mind will buy one of those. If you go to Kamadan right now, you'll see many WTB Mnipig 15K. You might also see some WTT Minipig for Vizu!!! :P

The rat will drop normally like the pig last year, but we can trade pigs for another mini, *crosses fingers for Mini Nian*
As long as the trade is 1 for 1 I'm happy, i still have 2 from last year, but I do understand your point, the high price is mostly due to rich people buying them in a rush to "be the one with the most" it seems like they need to have a lot of somethign to feel good aobut themselves.

The amount of mini pigs out there.. the mini "nian" (or w/e it will be) won't be worth the money really towards the end.. the economy will be flooded with the new mini as it is with mini pigs right now. ><

I gave my only other Pig to my brother, as he only started playing more recently. Pretty annoyed that I can't get the new one now, but going by the amount of pigs, the new one is going to be fairly common as well and probably won't go for very much.
Really looking forward to this festival, but I don't think this was a very good idea. It's just going to encourage people to hoard things like this in the future, instead of giving them away.

Interesting. I bought a lot of them after last year's event, hoping to resell them for more after the event. BUt the prices only dropped more so I kept them.
I was surprised to see all the WTB's today, so I sold all but one for 6-10k each. Nice profit since I bought for 3k last year. (yes, I could probably have sold for more I read now but I'm fine with my profit.)

If you ask me, the new collector minipet should have been given to those people who actually went through the trouble of getting all ingredients, not the people who stood in town every 3 hours collecting free pigs :P
But as I highly doubt it is retroactive, give something to the people who'll do it this year.
Because, obviously, the warm, fuzzy & happy feeling you might had when knowing you did something nice for other people, can make a 180° turn and make you feel cold and miserable a year later

So, did Gaile say anything else other than you -can- trade a dedicated pig to the collector, and that you can only get the rat mini from lunar fortunes? Hoping she had some more helpful info about the event and the minis.

I think i'll convert a couple then hang onto the originals, i'm guessing they'll be worth more than celestial versions down the track.
