It's worse than b4 imo.
pretty much does nothing, beacuse since you can use guiding hands for spikes, and not everyone is enchanted.
dervs dont need to always be able to hit, just for spikes, so the only way this would work is for some crappy pressure

I was pretty excited when I came back home, started GW and saw that an updae has been made - I thought - Grenth maybe? And then I looked here, saw the thread's topic and started going like 'zomg yeah anet gjgjgj at last good direction changes'. But then I saw the new functionality.

It's actually not that bad now. Capable of attacking through protted targets? Yes please. It makes anti-blocking worthless on a target, which is very strong. The only problem is, melandru is still better.

Once your target is enchanted, you're unblockable. It's not all that great in PvE, but for PvP yes, it is quite a big deal.

Its not on Par with Melandru for PvP and its still useless in PvE. I think they should add a vampiric effect, steal a certain amount of health on hit. that would fit with grenth.

But then it would be over powered again cause people would just run a lot of 'unblockable' attacks like wild blow and what not, stealing massive amounts of health. Sure a vamp thing would be nifty, but maybe just make it like if target foe is enchanted, your attacks are unblockable and every time you hit you cause bleeding, or some kind of low level condition, or gain 10 health or something. A vamperic attack that requires either auto attack or skill use with no health degen is made of too much win.

not replacing the unblockable part, but along with it. the skill needs a third effect. and not some massive health steal, im talking like 5-20. puts more hate on prot, which i think, is the basis of the skill.

prot is overpowered and the counters keep getting nerfed for being overpowered, need to find a happy medium.

oh this whole **cking update was bs for the derv, i dont use the assult skill or w/e its called, but everything i saw seemed to get a negative effect. What they NEEDED to do was keep grenth as it was, give it some useless nerfable 3rd effect, and simply MOVE MYSTIC REGEN to mysticism w/o touching it. So much bs, makes me sad to call my derv my main, WTF anet?

Overall, the change to the regeneration is better then moving it to mysticism. It's still a strong skill, and it's still a viable self heal on other professions. The change isn't worth whining over really, other professions get much worse nerfs then this.

The mystic regen nerf shouldn't matter at all unless you're terrible at guild wars. 3 enchantments is really the most you should care to have.
A .25 second skill use increase shouldn't even be noticeable.

I've been playing around with it in RA a little bit and yea its great that it goes thru and all but it does not have another effect like Lyssa (+20e +xx dmg) or Melandru (+100hp immune). And I think the reason for that is it would be too strong if it say went thru the enchant and removed it, I would say give it more energy like Lyssa or +1 boost to your attributes.
Also it doesnt spike worth a damn either, sure you can run thru enchants but big deal I cannot constant 100+ dmg like Lyssa.
