My literal first fortune I opened was the rat. It was awesome. I was surprised and glad all at the same time 
. I like it, especially since I don't have the money to get 5 pigs. I have opened about 60 more and haven't gotten anymore.

dang I have done all the quests with 4 characters now and have opened more than 200 fortunes...NOTHING....my husband (made him do it as well) opened about 50....NOTHING....I have 10 more characters (and a few mules that might get out).....last year I opened more than 300 and NO pig...yes that is my normal luck.

Opened up around 200+ fortunes, 0 rats. Ran out of characters to do the quests with so I pretty much give up.
I think the drop rate still needs a bit of work. Cause while it may be higher then the pigs was, its still low if some of us can open hundreds of fortunes and get nothing.

I did all of the quests with my main character and exchanged the tokens for fortunes, but I didn't get one. And of course the quests are easy and boring and involve a lot of running, so I'm not inclined to repeat them. It's too bad. I like the celestial rat! I've had several pairs of rats over the years, and they're nice little pets.

I got one after about 100 fortunes. I still have other characters to do the quests so there might a chance for me to get another.

I got 3 out of ~420 fortunes.
First was after ~350 fortunes.
Weird thing is that I got each one on a different character, however all three of those characters wear armour that's dyed red. As well, they were the last three that I did.

I did 150 fortunes no rats my friend got 4 out of 350ish so I got one. No more farming those damn quests thank god. It actually looks pretty cool I like the fact that it looks like the celestial rat XD

200...and finally got a rat!!! Still thats not a good % (have been doing more fortunes for the party stuff and have opened another 100---so thats 300 and only 1 rat....I'm glad I dont gamble!)

Then I gathered 242 Lunar Fortunes, when I used about 125 pieces, I got my first rat. Then another rat after 20 more fortunes, and that was it.
Overall, it's not so bad.
