The nerf to Finale of Restoration has hurt motivation pretty bad, as you could make builds that (among other things, of course) exploited massive amounts of shout spamming to crank out a ridiculous amount of healing from that skill.

At this point there isn't a whole lot in motivation. Song/Ballad of Restoration are decent at partywide healing, but I think PwK is better (the healing happens exactly when you need it, and he can and will double drop). Life helps out as well. Mend Body and Soul (with Signet of Spirits) and Foul Feast are my preferred ways for removing conditions, and they remove them a lot faster. Song of Purification isn't always up enough, especially if there's blind going around, and as a warrior, blind is the condition I'm most worried about.

What I like about Command is the lack of any cast time on GfTE, and the 1s cast Anthem of Envy (due its working on spirits). Motivation tends to have all these 2s cast chants, and the cast times from those skills really add up, leaving him little time to build adrenaline or do much else. Hexbreaker suffers from that same problem, and despite being able to charge it quickly, I ended up removing it from my builds.

They're on Fire/Blazing Finale are great, they are 14/sec AOE damage that mobs do not move out of, with additional damage reduction (that, unlike Save Yourselves if you're a SY spammer, applies to you too!), but it tends to work better if you're a warrior and can move right into the middle of the big pack of mobs or body block. Much harder to take advantage of if you're not a warrior.

I am interested in playing around with a paragon. Does Racway still do well, or is there a better team setup for paragons now?

Quick question to Ractoh:

What have you been using on your Orders Derv since the overhaul to Vow of Piety?

I've always like the D/N support on any of my physical characters, since it provided just that extra bit of party healing and damage at the same time. Without a good replacement to the old Vow of Piety though, the build is much less effective.

Thanks!

I've seen many people using this kind of builds. Imbagon + 2 para heroes + 1 optional hero. Some 'run' Gate of Madness HM with this and just 2 monk henchies. I was just optional. ^^
Other guy helped me with Gate of Pain HM with this, awesome and succeeded the mission at ease.

My main character is a necro, but it sucks I can't use these builds with full effectivness with him. Of course I can run SY with it, but i wouldn't be able to keep it up most of time. Would be great to do hard vanquish area's with much more ease with this. ^^

An E/n orders works fine, lets face it, racway + healers in 8 man areas is just overkill, while i do sometimes run a massively changed "yelloway" hero setup, the healing one receives from paragon heroes + the derv just isn't needed.
As for the E/n just go with the normal buffs + enchant removal on a ER ele hero, I'm undecided about either hex removal or remove blocking, its area dependant.

Working on my second GWAMM now with mainly paragon heros for my necro, (my first gwamm was on a paragon) I mainly run with 2 para heros and a N/rt minion bomber in HM areas.

The added 100 from SY seems (IMO) to be very useful in prophecies vanquish area's. For example those area's in Souther Shiverpeaks (don't know about north) where all those dolyak riders spam eachother with healing etc and those Stone summits kill you. xD

Now I use Hero Spiritway for all my vanquishes. (discordway in NM) But do these paragons work out better?
