Guildie got the Obsidian edge after we completed FOW in HM, I was pissed because i said to myself that i would open the chest last, but he ran to go get his reward from the Hunt and i opened it and got JUNK.

Just cleared FoW on Hard Mode with 7 live people(had one quit in the middle-monk to boot)
Nobody got the new weapons, almost all the drops from chest were scrolls to FoW......

Cleared fissure several days ago after a spontaneous guild toss up.
Entered with quite a random team, 2 dervs a warrior 2 ele's a necro and 2 monks. Absolutely no build coordination other than "take maelstrom".
Somehow we completed it, although after 3hours 30 mins lol. But seeing as most of us had never been anywhere past forgemaster and wailing lord we were chuffed as.
Sadly no new drops out the chest, best gotten was a guardian of the hunt. And of course someone got the req 13 offhand.
I was happy though, 4 shards 1 ecto and a ruby xD

its ok if some pugs leave mid-run - we finished hm fow run with 5 ppl, and it wasnt too long - 1,5hrs. u should at least give it a try...

they drop since release (just like storm bows, the drop pretty common there).

So i got a Demonic Aegis, cause the skin is cool look, after looking at it outside, its got some major issuses, esp on a warrior, First off it has no back part which makes it look really sad and then its too fair away from the arm, So sandy,i'm disaponted with anet that they couldn't make this look better. Anywho my thoughs.
As for new items comming, sweet, can't wait, just hope they don't have the issues like this one.

Does anyone know where does Draconic Aegis drop from Locked Chest? I heard about Dalada Uplands, but nobody has confirmed that, and are there any other locations? I know some people know where they drop, just won't tell anyone..

Alliance mate told me that he got one in Dalada, but he got it in HM.. Question is, do they drop in NM, and if they drop from locked chest, how come there are no purple ones?

If they do drop in Dalada, it's quite possible the skin only comes in gold (whether HM or NM). No celestial items, for instance, are ever purple.

My friend just got 2 obsidian edges (r9 and r12) from the FOW end chest in a row..
and he calls me his lucky charm because i was there in the group... ><

I'll say that Dalada is a Bust Again like i did a few pages back. I ran easily a stack of picks there and im at 43% retention in hm i would venture to say i ran 500+ hm chests there though the number is cloudy since it was awhile ago. No draconic/No Compass. Though its not word of god id say Dalada is a no go

^ ^ im guessing you are like me and get more enjoyment from getting items dropped for you than the instant gratification of buying it. So far the only one of these drops ive seen was a serpentine axe. Hoping Dwayna will bless me with something good soon. I been good this year!

i stopped trying to get these weapons..because my rare drop rate sucks bad..
btw to the guys with 100+ picks...why not just buy weapons you seem to have enough gold to afford picks lol
