Funny ways you lost Survivor

Disconnected in punchout with ~300 exp to level 20. I accidentally hit No, and find myself in Gunnar's with one death. ='(

i trusted a pug group (i know , stupid of me isnt it) and it got me killed.

Yeah, I eventually decided being owned by a bunny was cooler than being L3 (and less work) so I kept the ranger.

I have the opposite.

I tried for survivor many times. At least 30 by my count. With only prophecies my choices were quite limited. I had limited skills, and no heroes. Many deaths were due to my lack of knowledge of game mechanics, some more were due to instable internet connections.

After a frustrating 700k loss due to alesia sucking like always, I decided my next survivor would simply play as much as possible.

I was more gung ho than normal and went and henched my way through the shiverpeaks to most of the oustposts with the exception of mursaat scaryness. I capped all the elites in all the zones (Including Dreadnoughts) with henchies.

I ended up getting survivor by NOT being super extra careful. Every time I was super extra careful, I died...

When the title was first introduced, my boyfriend and I decided to try for it, just for fun. I rolled a new Mesmer and he a Ranger. It was a new experience to try to be more mindful of our survival, but we both reached level 20 with no deaths, and were satisfied. Our goal then really was just to see if we could make it to max level without dying because we actually wanted to just play them up normally. We joined some PuG and they got us both killed in about 15 mins.

My second attempt to seriously get max rank wasn't til Nightfall, on my Paragon. I got rank 3 just playing normally, along with many FoW clearing trips.

However, my boyfriend's second attempt to get Survivor, he was killed in the Vizunah cutscene, when the other party did not skip.

His 3rd attempt he died in Tihark Orchard, using a build I gave him. He reached rank 2. He totally blamed me, even though it was exactly the same build my own Survivor used when she did it, hehe.

He's on his fourth now...wish him luck!

Got cocky with a mission in HM and rushed the Drought while the healers were hanging back.

Getting spiked from a stoning for 600 damage will ruin anyones survivor

i had just gotten survivor (1) on my paragon when my brother asked me to come back and help him with consulate docks real quick. As i had already done the mission I said sure and figured I could pick up the masters reward this time for more XP. well low and behold at the very end of the mission I rubberbanded to the bottom of a set of stairs with about 12 archers standing at the top, I promptly got spiked by sundering attack x 12 ignite arrows x12.

Needless to say I was a bit mad at my brother for asking for help on such an easy mish, but I guess it was my fault too :\

I lost survivor on my Ranger while trying to take down Kenshi Steelhand's group, and while I was far enough away with my flatbow, he randomly shadow-stepped right near me, and unleashed his combo before I realized what happened and didn't have a chance to hit Whirling Defense. Yes, Kenshi is a prick.

Survivor like balloon: one prick, all gone.

Well, was doing the once uber LS farm outside marketplace and and I walked out of the range of Symbiosis. Wasn't exactly funny but it was the only survivor I lost.

Just remembered my ele survivor was still on shing jea and I was having a bit of fun with a lv 20 monk friend doing the quest where crimsons kull try to attack the little village. Well she said it was ok to go leeroy everything and I did and went out a bit too far and got spiked by the groups we let accumulate.

Also was doing bonus for Venta and got spiked by seige attacks when koss aggroed another group before we were done with the first, wasn't able to kill all in time and the fortress was made known of my presence.

Also FFF is such a slow and painful way to get the title, all those hundreds of people FFFing? They want max titles/better pve skills.

I set my hero monk attributes wrong - put all pts into smite or something instead of healing.....
I was shouting at the screen - "HEAL ME YOU B*TCH!" and she was just standing there..... lol
ah well....Only zero death toons I have now are my mules

I touched ,,Do Not Touch'' before anyone knew why not touch them. In 3 seconds I suffered about 600 damage from SF. NEVER DO ANYTHING WITHOUT PREPROTING.

i opened map acidentaly, computer lagged and died.......

Haven't seen anyone mention this yet, but has anyone had the "low-health-from-heavy-spiking" nightmares (which include obsessive /deaths checks)? A couple times I'd wake up in the middle of the night and boot up GW just to check my death count. Man, that title is scary when obtained without farming.

Anyway, I don't have any funny lost-surv-title stories. Most times, it's been from cockyness. That got me many times

While playing the dwarven boxing thing.. I just kept wondering why Kilroy wasn't ressing me xD

By far the funniest way I've died. I think it's a right of passage to die in that valley, especially while trying charm animal over and over and over again...

I somehow thought I could finish the "Gain Olias"-Quest as a lvl 15, with heroes and henchies^^

But I wasn't really going for that title.... I just didnt die until I was lvl 15....

My Necro Died while I was playing the game normally doing missions and quests, not worrying about hovering my finger over the "F12" key or whatever escapes you out of the game whenever you wanna be cheap.

I lost survivor on my ritualist at 19 and ½lvl while Afflicted group popped out near Kaineng Center.. Didn't have time to even start healing myself... And other one was, when I yesterday made myself new warrior, I managed to get killed by lvl 2 Ele with sword in pvp part of leaving Pre (tho their henchies did most dmg to us). However, I'm happy to have LS on my monk, and I think that's enough

I've done a couple of stupid things with survivors in the past. One was wandering out of the Marketplace with only 6 people in the team and only one monk on my Ritualist.... Oh I kicked myself for that one.... I remade her and she since got Legendary, meeting her untimely end outside Chantry of Secrets.

Most heartbreaking one must have been my Prophecies Necro who I very carefully ascended and was taking through Ice caves on my lonesome (H/H of course though). Got near the end where the mursaat were moving over the bridge. It looked like they weren't going to get killed by the catapault so I got my bow and fired to pull them back under. Catapault + Spectral Agony on an uninfused survivor = dead survivor, some alcohol and chocolate needed. Just got her replacement through that mission last night and I had some more alcohol to celebrate :P
