I'm not sure where this idea of entitlement has come from when talking about receiving things for X-year anniversaries. We all could easily have gotten nothing beyond the in-town celebrations for years 1 and 2, and now 3. Instead, we get a small (and yes, useless) bonus in the form of minipets. People who find the need to complain because they're giving out minis for a third time rather than <insert any other ineffectual influence on the game beyond visual prestige> need to accept that getting anything for it, even if it is no longer creative, is still a bonus.
At the same time, they do introduce a bit of in-game lottery effect that I don't appreciate. When first introduced, I favored the idea that they shouldn't have been allowed to be traded between accounts though my stance has obviously changed because of how the Hall of Monuments has been designed.

I don't understand why there are reskins (besides the fact that there seems to be no modelers at Anet....or at least lazy ones)....aren't these minis just smaller versions of their respective monsters?
You know what would be great? If you could get a one-use skill that turns any enemy into a mini. It's like a minimizing ray!! Then no one would complain about bad minis...

Reskinned = 7
If the ones I tagged as new are from something else, feel free to update it. I delisted the White Rabbit since it didn't have a Miniature prefix.

Its not like a.net is being lazy choosing "reskins." The models for all creatues in game already exist. The amount of effort to create a mini is probablly nothing.
