Overabusing? There is no reason not to use it. Tell me you wouldn't use it too if you had a Paragon. Plus IMO, it was never overpowered anyway really.

Not happy about continued Paragon nerfs....
The others are meh. Continued Ward nerfs got me worried too. Nobody will use them at all soon.
Are paragons really that much of a problem in GvG?

The reason not to use it too much is that if you do, it'll get nerfed. It's like the queen in chess, you use the queen too early and too often and the other guy is likely to capture her.

Ummm.... did anyone use those skills anyways? Well, for PvE I believe everyone does the standard SY imbagon now.

Also mad about the rit nerfs to splinter and ancestors.... guess splinter couldn't own too long without being nerfed though.

True, and in fact, the skills ( especially the elites ) didnt need nerfing imo, they were fine as it is, but claiming that paras are dead now is a bridge too far.

What is irritated me about this update is that now i have a "EXPAND YOUR WORLD WITH CHARACTER SLOTS" on my screen but its like i dont have to worry about getting titles for Gw2 with more than 2 characters.
Seriously, i hope the "rewards" for titles are account wide, i have 5 characters and i had to consider 4 of them dead because i kills me (and im sure everyone else) to get multitple titles for multitple characters (like vanquishing with 2 characters)
ufff....

Oh yea, and now i have to stop using my paragon hero ebcause he will heal at each 30 seconds..........yay!

No, I am well aware that they have been messing with skills that were previously unchanged for a very long time. I am trying to suggest that old skills shouldn't be changed...the new ones that are unbalancing them should...

I'm most upset about Aegis I guess, a nerf was, in my opinion not needed as the skill was kind of balanced atm. But Aegis AND the ward vs melee nerf makes it baed... Cant get over it....

GG Anet. You take the still great Paragon defensive skills and nerf them almost to the point where they're unusable, and then have the audacity to not even buff any skills. Nerf nerf nerf nerf, when will Paragons get a desperately deserved defensive BUFF?

This update may have hurt one of my farming builds using Shockwave but it seems that GoLE won't be so usefull on a Monks bars.I would tell them if they are going to increase Aegis to 15 agian make it out side of an earshot like it use to be.I will have to judge the rest later and am glad I didn't buy disarm yet.

wth? i've played paragon, i'm familiar with these skills -- and that's a horrible nerf to core motivation skills. 20 sec wasn't great, but we could work with it due to some overlaps of functionality, but 30 sec is going to seriously damage their usefulness. looks like an overnerf to me.

Overall, I dislike the overnerf aspect, and what I feel is an overly gvg/pvp focused outlook of these changes.

Faer the big problem is

fact 1 there are way to much skills

fact 2 some things have gotten completely useless, Air magic was allready a piece of junk in both PVE and PVP (Rit spike's alot better than an air magic ele (which i thought was the idea behind Air Magic))
but it has gotten nerfed even more air magic is close to becoming a dead line in both areas of the game, i haven't played pvp for a while but i'm sure if i enter with my ele it won't be an air ele, Bsurge is out of the window, air spiking was out of the window ages ago

And the big problem is pvp and pve skills should have been separated in my opinion ages ago or don't give pve things such high armor (there are enough solutions but i'll wait till gw2 to see if anything has changed if not i'll stick to gw1)

And i agree on getting the total defense line out of the way in gvg, but there is a difference between fixing a broken thing or completely making it utter useless (look at ether renewal, it's an elite that's not even worth paying the 1 plat for to get the cap sig, heck not even with an elite tome it's justified)

And not ranting just trying to point out some things and discuss where things could be improved, cause nothing is perfect untill proven otherwhise

Izzy really needs to understand that buffs are what is needed now, not nerfs. By nerfing things over and over again people will simply shift upwards causing the meta to become even more stagnant.

Hello.Air magic isn't broken yet and there is still Invoke which is better than B-Surge which I only used on Heros.I can live with Orb as it was this way all along just have to pack shell shock and what about Glyph of Swiftness?
