Sure, anytime you correct the function of something to work as described is a positive. People exploiting a game function that isnt working properly are in reality bug abusing, now everyone could do it yadda yadda, but it doesnt change the fact that it would be exploiting a game function operating out of proper spec

The people will still cheat. Last time, i ran into people syncing from inactive districts like poland. one guy was designated "winner" from the start, and the rest of the team would crush anyone that accidentally fell into their sync.
this happened to me; i faced one of the board leaders (guy that was on the top 100 multiple times). his teammates all went after me and i was hit so hard i couldn't finish
he finished in an amazing time, partly because he had nobody competing and hitting him.

You don't need to double Ram to top 100. I did it this year the same way I did it last year, which doesn't involve double Ram.
All you need is about an hour to land the box combo, and the skill to know what to do with it when you land it.

Well, I'm interested in seeing what the top scores are without this exploit. That's about it, though. I always did pretty well without cheating. I'm curious to see how many people are affected by this change.
Rollerbeetle Racing has always been fun for me even if I've only ever been on the low end of top 100.

To really fix the issue they'd have to delete from the game every rollerbeetle that was awarded last time, since they were all gotten via using this ram exploit. That wealth is illegitimate, ill-gotten gains from an exploit. Exactly the same as the duped armbraces that got deleted for being ill-gotten gains. For those who already sold the ill-gotten gained beetles, they should have the amount of money and ectos they paid for it deleted from their account. Doing all of that would be fixing it. Leaving those ill-gotten gains alone is dirty pool.

They probalby just made it impossible now because of the people complaining about people having too many high scores. and in response to the people constantly bring up that all the top racers sync: syncing BARELY HELPS even if you acutally did do it. The chance of syncing several people in is extremely low, and even if you did, you would still need to know how to get the high score, and get lucky enough for it. Syncing would not even be worth it, and I laugh at the people that acutally try to sync thinking that they will get a high score if they do.

The same racers will still be on top, only they won't have like 20 top 100 scores this time. I never knew about this exploit and still got a 2nd spot the last time, so it won't make any difference to me.

It's just like Rofl said: changing how Ram works doesn't screw up the top racers from getting the top scores. It just makes us think a little more, and it forces everyone to rely a little bit more on boxes. That makes this game more luck based than skill based, no matter how you hash it.
I can think two real problems in Racing that they haven't fixed: highscores probably still display multiples of names, and resigning probably still adds dishonor. The latter is somewhat of a tactic of preventing the former, but until they fix the former, all of these little adjustments they make in the arena are going to mean nothing.

It's sad that some players feel the need to use exploits/ bugs/ cheats to advance and/or get things in the game.
Even sadder that they brag about their "accomplishments" (brb gotta puke).
Ok back, even way sadder that they QQ when the exploit/bug/cheat gets fixed.
