I'll wait for Anet to add any way to store a lot of armor sets without using up storage space, and they get a lot of normal and prestige armor sets with all my characters.
But until that happens, I'd keep using the gold in Broadwalks to increase the lucky and to get sugar items.
For drunkard I'd wait until they add an effect icon or change its mechanics or something. For party animal I'd wait for them to add a way to get party items outside events.
And use the rest to pay the bills.

And 1k a day? Really? Man, I can make that in about 5 minutes doing HFFF, and sometimes faster doing CoF.

250 ectos Mat Storage + (((5*4)*4)*250) ectos in Xunlai Storage Slots + 1 million in gold in Xunlai storage + 32 (100k+ (45 inventory slots * 250 ectos))
So, at 4500g/ecto, that's 1125000g + 90000000g + 1000000g+ 32* (100000g+ (50625000g)) = 1715325000g or 1715.325 million gold using only ectos and cash
