crazy RA stories

im sure you got them so go ahead and lay it on this thread, i searched for it couldn't find it so i posted here, my story is i was Raing just minutes ago and we came across a monk, now i was happy to see a monk even if it was a smiter, but this was a healer, i think, he never healed us. He waded straight across the lava, not using meledru's resilience the only time your "allowed" to do this, and i asked whya re you doing that? his explanation was that our team sucks and that as a ranger i probably suck, couldn't prob interrupt backfire etc etc. Then he went on to explain WHY i suck, its because i didn't have r5 hero and r7, i think, champion so i must be bad. And on top of this instead of leaving he/she stayed in game to continue to insult ppl. Ah RA the place where you meet some strange folks and build. no ss btw its not a significance thing but it did piss me off.

necro/assassins with rigor mortis and dagger attacks.
3x w/mo team trying to rebirth eachother.
magebane rangers talentlessly spamming magebane/dshot/savage and talk shit when they're lucky enough to catch a spell.

the only place i've seen wastrel's collapse used a few times
two hour matches of me being afk while a 55 monk tried to axe me down

4 monk team vs no monk team the non monk team couldbt kill the 4 monk and the monk couldnt do enough damage to kill anyone that was epic and oh yeah it was pree time runs out you lose it went on for like 30 min before the no monk team left

A Master of Magic Smiter and myself running a Mind shock spiker took on a full team of 4 in the Priest map, that was fun.

And some monk resigning and saying I sucked for running A/P before the match even started. -.-;

I faced him in the next game and he was saying some ranger on his team sucked. Weird.

And the time I ran a "ViM!" Ranger with a sword, and beat a team of three. :x They kinda sucked.

Just 30 minutes ago I was in a team with 2 other ele's (myself being the third ele). Anyway, one of the ele's had a hammer and ran into the enemy like a true wammo. He died and nobody would rez him. Basicly when the game was over he asked "no rez?" and I told him I don't waste my rez signets on hammer ele's. He replies "I don't rez noobs". He then pm's me asking me my rank.. I tell him my glad rank and he replies "no, your REAALL rank". Unsure of which rank I ask him to be more specific, "YOUR REAAALL RANK, you know". I got fed up and just ignored him, sometimes RA can bring out the biggest idiots..

Also, a long time ago I had the most awesome RA team. After having steamrolled through the first ten games we continued on until we reached 32 consecutive victories at which point the monk had to leave so we disbanded. We faced goth spikes and other lame team builds such as Ride the lightning spike but our monk stopped everything. Its amazing what 1 water ele, 1 hammer warrior, 1 crip slash and one decent monk can do.

Same old same old.

1. Go to RA.
2. Meet an ass who thinks he's the shit.
3. Lose. The shit picks someone to blame.
4. It's you.
5. The ass calls you colorful names after the loss.
6. The ass whispers you colorful names after the match.
7. You whisper and tell him to shut the hell up.
8. The ass floods you with more names and puts you on ignore list.

Mine doesn't involve a specific match or person, but a string of events that annoyed me to no end for a week. It was right about the time my old guild was getting heavy into PvP and required officers to HA. I had to unlock it. For a week, every 4th win I experienced a loss, disconnect, rage-quit, or some other circumstance that would contribute to a loss. Haven't seen the issue since, but I have always found it interesting it only happened when I was on the 4th win.

in a 4 monk team once, all healers. we won 4 matches just wanding everything to death(yey for no self heal? ) and didnt concede any deaths, alas we came up against a team with a monk and were at a stalemate the whole match they wouldnt even let us get a glad point :/

and i love it when your on a team who gets 6 flawless wins and theres always one person who thinks the monk is the best monk ever only to get stomped on by a shitload of pressure .

Our guild yelling at one of our officers to get the the f-ing GH so we could gvg when he was on 50+ wins with a RA team.

- Beating a full 'balanced' team (ele, mesmer, warrior and monk) by myself using the old Paladin PvP skill template. Sure it took 30 minutes but hey, it was worth it.
- In a fit of rage I went on my PvE monk, bought the lowest level armor I could find, didn't put any runes on - and my only skill was Blood is Power. Ran into the match screaming "HOW 2 HEEL???????". Somehow we won the first match. Second one not so lucky...
- Magebane PvX rangers that use Serpents Quickness to constantly spam their 3 interrupts, but never actually interrupt anything.
- Warriors with 5 in Fire Magic that use meteor and flare.
- Unyielding Aura.
- Specifically, as a monk, letting your team mates drop one at a time, then when you've got UA maintained on them all and it seems like the team is going to win, ending it and letting them all die, then saccing yourself to death screaming about cult suicides.

oh ya there are many times when some random kid runs across the map and gets himself killed and calls me nub monk lol... its funny.

Some people dont like RA, but times like this make you very satisfying, 21 wins with no healer.

- The tripple chop necro I ran into a few days ago made me giggle.

- A few months ago I had a match were I had 3 monks in my team, me being warrior(backbreaker). The other team had..3 monks and a sin.
It was a 10min Frenzy love fest in which I scored 2 kills, the opposing sin 0.
Good times with bad RA monks.

A Searing Flames... Dervish! Oh yeah I also caught a Paragon doing it.

I allways thought that using [skill]"Charge"[/skill] in RA was a joke. Saw a couple of guys using it and laughed. Is that a waste of an elite skill or not?

Dealing absolutely NO damage.

Yet, I consider him to be one of the best Aspy players I had ever run into.
He rushed the turtle and the warriors.
Those guys couldn't kill him - so the turtle couldn't move forward.
We lost.

I even had this ele who does nothing but burning speed running around in cicrcles, eventually he burnt himself to death, I still wondered what he got in mind.

Echo frenzy warrior, he forgot to bring healing sig though.

And for anyone who is a regular RA player like me, there is this guy called A Naked *****, who always enters battle without armor, and usually uses a hammer, and does not respond to any comment. Seems like a bot but...

WTB random HA week end plz.

Well I've been RAing again the past 2 days..and some of what I've had happen to me.

I seen a warrior, in Vabbian armor using Flare and Firestorm. I don't know if he was actually joking or not.

I was raging all today, I got one 10 match and that was it, couldn't get over 5 matches. Sure my builds weren't the best but the people I got teamed up with and what I had to verse, ridiculous.

I counted 15 matches, I had no monk on my team. 13 of those 15 matches I faced a monk on the other team. 2 times my team was good enough to kill the other team regardless of the monk or not. But only two.

When I tried monking, which was a mistake and my team couldn't deal out enough damage to their team, they also didn't attack the monk so I eventually got owned cause I couldn't keep myself up any longer.

When on my assassin, the warrior and the "lets 1vs1" assassin on my team went for the..get this..THUMPER when there was a Monk and healing Rit. I had to go after them solo and I couldn't bring them down with 1 healing the other, I got close though. But I was saying "ATTACK THE MONK *not in caps*" but they didn't listen. Oh well.

My favorite part of the day was trying out my assassin build I set up, that had absolutely no defense, going into the enemy, owning the monk within 5 seconds and then dying because I had no heals or anything. I was like I died but I got the monk!! Our team won that match.

Overall I have fun, but sometimes I feel like punching my wall with the frustration that can come out of the place. Thing that makes me most mad is the other team I face getting a monk every time I enter or facing a team that's totally anti- what I am on the first match. I think ANet does it on purpose.

Oh and get this! There was lag today earlier and we were on our 4th victory, no biggie. Well only me and the warrior on my team were lagging, no one else. So the other team won due to lag cause Anet just likes to get on my nerves. Where their servers are located this is what happened:

"Hey I think *my name* is in RA at the moment going for his glad point, hehe I know LAG OUT FOR HIS TEAM ONLY LOL!!!"

Nothing special tho, there are tons of people doing that. It is RA after all, perfect place to mess around with all kind of things. Although the things I mess around with usually make some kind of sense.

I usually run a RaO, replacing the spirit with Lightning Reflexes. We had me, an assassin, and two eles. I knew someone else on the team was dishing out major damage, so when we came up against a two monk team, I asked the assassin which monk he was on. His reply?

"Whoever dares to face me in battle."

Classic.

This was a whiles back...

I was running a Mo/Me with channeling and healing hands (Yes....healing hands)

And i was lagging. I ended up getting body blocked into a corner by a ranger and two warriors.

My team only had 2 others so we couldn't out damage the other team, but they focused on attacking me. I was completely bodyblocked from all sides, and I just tanked them.

This was before i even knew what the hell i was doing. It was funny. They couldnt kill me and eventually gave up.

Frenzy is a good skill though.

true but you have to spam it to be a good noob/wammo also you should always use it when you use healing signet, this is a key point
