I suspect this is the wrong thread, Cerb - no Permie-Sin is going to take them on or their first spawn will kill with the Signet.

burning speed... now theres a skill i thought id never use.

Essence of celerity. Buy them from players or have a guildie make a few for you.

Im working on setting up a perma sin for this and I was just wondering, what weapons would be the best to do this build? I've heard Rago's Flame Staff, but i would just like a confirmed answer.
Thanks ~Fragile EDIT: and also if anyone could post the usual price of the item AOD_EaSyKiLL

Works the exact same way as before, 3,6,9. Did a guild UW clear.

Several tho I can't give a full answer as I only did a partial quick run to test the build. The Rider near the Bone Pits is now a Cursed and the one from there to the Monument is also Cursed.
BruskoKariskoff
I've tried this is HM, graspings scatter from burning, as do aatxe's.
Also, you can avoid killing the cursed guys for those wondering how you get passed them. just run till you break aggro from them. masta_yoda

Four Banished Dream Rider are turned to cursed. One near the bone pits, one near the spawning pools, and the ones on either side of the monument.

well the pull is now 3 1 1
at the entrance, cursed rider to the left, curseds on either side of grenth statue, and cursed near dryders at the end of the run edit didnt see above me, oh well also guys, what are your average ectos total for the run? DeviantTeknique
average for me has been 2.5, but tbh I haven't really been doing it much
I edited the OP with all the ideas for the 8th skill, keep em coming and sorry if I missed any warriorsmiley
I've been working on getting FOW armor for my warrior and ive been doing it duo with my guildie but now since hes farming uw with his rit i started doing it with my sin. Besides the bad behemoths spawns which seems to be every other run i average about 2-4 ectos per 2 runs most post patch has been 6. I myself had to sub out lava font for dash since the casting for burning speed usually allows the darkness to get to me.
Even with bad behemoths spawn and wasting 1k I still come out of UW with more money then I had. Only down side about it is they die at the same exact time leading to less drops but i still get about 2+ golds a run(mostly merchant food but some of them were worth keeping to give to hero's). English Warrior
dieing at the same time doesnt effect ecto drops FYI

[fear me] is your problem simply use a caster+shield to keep your energy low and then switch to high when not fighting them, have fun farming ectos.

He means for you to use energy hiding. They can't sap energy that doesn't exist at the time.

Oh okay that makes since hope it works

Can someone provide a link where the developers say they removed the old anti-bot farming code that was targeted at 55 bots.
The only thing I have been able to find was where they mentioned how drops steadly got worse the more you went into an area and how this was replaced with loot scaling. I really wish ANET would tell that "ALL" anti-farming code was removed. manitoba1073

oles, I don't understand. This, from our Dev Update of April 20:
People who periodically enjoy farming solo (with no heroes or henchmen) but are casual about it are also likely to see an improvement. They'll find that solo farming is much easier than it was before, because monsters don't have the anti-farming AI that they used to have, and because the game no longer prevents players from repeatedly farming the same monsters over and over. Many types of builds that didn't work in the past, or that haven't been effective since the earliest days of Guild Wars, can now be used for solo farming. Thus, casual farmers will find the game much easier to farm than it was before, and that they can earn more money than before even with loot scaling in place.
Are you saying that the above is not true? You state numbers as if you have established proof of the existence of anti-farming code, and yet I would like to know if that is over a large base of research or is that anecdotal? I'm interested in whether you think that the statements above are inaccurate or written unclearly. Like that. its in this thread here- http://guildwars.incgamers.com/showthread.php?p=4887491 post #8

You can get past them if you take deaths charge as 8th skill. Just put up Armor of mist and burning speed and teleport to the last one. You'll get hit but won't die.
King Sasuke
Ok i need more help i can get to the Behemoths but when i put on Burning speed and go past i still get hit and bleed to death any help?

OP has been updated with some minor new info, including the most effective killing order (that i've found) for those that haven't figured it out yet.
New time record=20 minutes including run to plains.

Anyone whose having trouble with behemoth spawns:
[skill]Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support[/skill]
Rank doesn't matter, you just summon him to trip a bad trap spawn, and then pass by safely yourself.

The first group of Charged Blackness you meet are the ones that come down the hill. All you need todo is wait and they'll go back up... Soon as they go just run for it. If you're getting charged blcknesses blocking the enterance to the plains it means you're taking too long to get up the mountain.
